Veterans Rights Are Being Violated
























Mark Meyer, above, was fired three days after telling his boss he was going to Iraq. Read the article here, where it was found that over 200 Iowans have been found to be discriminated against because of their service to their country. This is despicable.

    Gah!!! I really shouldn't have read this. I know this shit happens but it really pisses me off that it still happens so often. What is wrong with people in middle management?

    Considering that a lot of people in Iowa serve in the national guard, I am surprised it happened at all. Imagine you leave your family to serve and fight in another country and your boss fires you. I think the best medicine besides the courts is to publish the names of the companies and the management that do this.
