Times Square Bomber Not Tea Partier: Bloomberg owes apology

It tuns out the great NYPD has arrested a suspect in the attempted Times Square Bombing. It turns out the suspect is Pakistani, not a Tea Party member as Michael Bloomberg, the ersatz mayor of New York City has asserted.

“If I had to guess, twenty five cents, this would be exactly that,” Bloomberg said. “Homegrown maybe a mentally deranged person or someone with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something. It could be anything.”

A Pakistan-born U.S. citizen accused of driving a bomb-laden SUV into Times Square and parking it on a street lined with restaurants and Broadway theaters was to appear in court Tuesday to face charges that he tried to set off a massive fireball and kill Americans, federal authorities said.

The suspect, Faisal Shahzad, was taken into custody late Monday by FBI agents and New York Police Department detectives at Kennedy Airport while trying to board a flight to Dubai, according to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and other officials. He was identified by customs agents and stopped before boarding, Holder said early Tuesday in Washington.

It turns out Bloomberg was wrong again. Will he apologize? I doubt it. He's too busy with other things, like pushing for idiotic regulations in NYC such as restricting salt or some other nanny state non-sense. Many, don't you wish Rudy was back? May be someone should put up a billboard in NYC with that.

Bill Clinton Illustrates The Hypocrisy Of The Left

In an article in the New York Times from yesterday, Bill Clinton likens the Tea Party movement to Timothy McVey and the Oklahoma City Bombing. An except from the speech:

“There can be real consequences when what you say animates people who do things you would never do,” Mr. Clinton said in an interview, saying that Timothy McVeigh, who carried out the Oklahoma City bombing, and those who assisted him, “were profoundly alienated, disconnected people who bought into this militant antigovernment line.”


Really Bill? I bet you didn't feel that way about The Weather Underground, SDS, SNCC, The Black Panthers, etc. In fact, you were probably with your fellow proletariat in those movements. What hypocrisy.

I condemn what Timothy McVey did, but truth be told, we still don't know the whole story behind that as Nichols isn't talking and neither is our government. Tying what McVey did to the Tea Party is not a proven arguent. In fact, I would say it is an a priori argument that is political in nature to support the increasingly fabian nature of Obama's agenda. They know that they cannot roll over us with force like their compatriots Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, so they figure they better try guilt and shame first. Sorry Bill, we aren't buying it.

And while I am at it, Shame on Bill and the New York Times for printing such propaganda (said in the vernacular of Frank from Queens). At this point, it's obvious beyond a shadow of a doubt who and what the fourth branch of government is: The Main Stream Media. Josef Goebbels would be proud of how Obama has co-opted the press in the country, and he has done so without any threat to them at all. In fact, for the most part, the MSM is in total agreement. That makes everything so much easier.

Michelle Bachmann, the other beauty from the north, rebuts Mr. Clinton:

In her remarks Thursday, Ms. Bachmann made light of the suggestion that antigovernment activists were angry.

“You look happy to me, you don’t look angry,” she told the crowd. “That’s because you get it. You are smart enough to get off your couch and do something.”

Mr. Clinton said his intent was not to stifle debate or muzzle critics of the government but to encourage them to consider what repercussions could follow. He acknowledged that drawing the line between acceptable discourse and that which goes too far is difficult but that lawmakers and other officials should try.

“Have at it,” he said. “You can attack the politics. Criticize their policies. Don’t demonize them, and don’t say things that will encourage violent opposition.”


Mr. Clinton, who is carrying the gun here? Is it the Tea Party, or the government? So what measures should lawmakers try? Hate speech laws like Canada and Germany? Just try it.

Right now, the dems have driven themselves over the cliff and they are looking for someone to blame other than themselves. Note to Bill, The New York Times and the rest of the MSM:

Look in the mirror. Your ideas, agenda and propaganda are so out of touch with what the american people believe and it is that which put you where you are, going over a cliff. Take responsibility for your own bad ideas and bad actions. The Tea Party had nothing to do with your choices in life, but only illustrate how out of touch and utterly ridiculous you are.

November is coming and pay back is a bitch.

We Know More About Tilikum the KILLER Whale in Five Hours, Than We Knew About Obama Before the Election

About a week before the 2008 election, Tom Brokaw sat in front of Charlie Rose on PBS stating we really don’t know much about Barack Obama. The two then exchanged back and forth all the things the mainstream media failed to ask Obama or dig up as we headed into the election just a few days later. This was the sad assessment of the state of the media and its bias leading into election day.

The mainstream media failed to report on Obama’s college days, his birth certificate, his drug use, his associations with Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Frank Marshall Davis, his connections to ACORN, his participation with theAnnenberg project, how he used the courts to win earlier elections, his direction towards communism, racial beliefs, and all the dirty little secrets hidden so Obama could assume office. Now that he is president, the mainstream media still fails to dig deeply into the healthcare plan, the stimulus plan, and all the other controversial bills leading towards socialism. I still haven’t heard the mainstream media discuss Obama’s desire to track Americans with their cell phones and increase wire tapping capabilities of the federal government; yet they screamed with George W. Bush was listening in on terrorists. Something tells me in their private circle, Tom Brokaw and Charlie Rose still says there is a lot we don’t know about Barack Obama.

However, in less than a day, I know everything I need to know about Tilikum, the killer orca at Sea World. I know where it was born, who its parents were, which tanks it lived in, how many people have died around the killer whale, and all the other details the media managed to dig up about the killer whale. It really is a sad statement about our mainstream media. By the way, the quote of the day comes from Matt Lauer from the Today show, which took out 15 minutes to discuss the incident. Lauer actually said, "they don't call them killer whales for nothing."

Tea Party Members Break Reagan’s 11th Commandment to Ensure Constitutional Candidates

In what normally would be a quiet primary season in red Congressional districts across the country, a few Republican candidates find themselves under a microscope when they expected to coast to an easy primary win. While some claim it’s a violation of Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment, tea party conservatives sin, throwing out the 11th commandment, to ensure the most Constitutional solid candidate gets the party nomination.

This is apparent in Missouri’s Seventh Congressional District. A few weeks ago, it looked like republican candidate Billy Long would coast through the primaries. Long had a significant lead in fund raising as well as having the most recognized name in the race. However, a chance meeting last fall led to one tea party member waging a campaign against the leading Republican candidate in the race.

Clay Bowler, the blogger at Bungalow Bill’s Conservative Wisdom watched candidate Long approach closer to his place in line prior to Claire McCaskill’s town hall meeting in Springfield, Missouri. A small-business man went up to Long and asked him why he couldn’t get a small business loan after the banks got the TARP money to free up the credit markets. He wanted to know what Long was going to do to make sure he was going to get a loan for his small business.

Long began to pander to the man, explaining what he would do. When he was done, Bowler asked him what in the Constitution gave him the authority to tell this man that he would help him. Long answered there was nothing. Bowler fired back, so why are you telling this man this. Candidate Long walked off.

After the meeting, Bowler began to realize that candidate Long had a long record in the local media of contradicting the platform put on his page, so he decided to challenge Long using the power of the Internet. He started the Billy Long is Wrong Web site. The site looks at the candidate under an intensified scope and examines the concerns he has of the candidate. Since the site was introduced, momentum has shifted to the more conservative Constitutionalist candidates.

This is the reality of the tea party movement, which is tired of more of the same from candidates that claim they are conservative republicans. Many tea party activists are asking what they can do to raise awareness for candidates that care about the Constitution and the limits of government, and more are turning to the Web to combat moderate candidates who don’t want to live within the limits of the Constitution. You can’t claim you are against the bailouts and then tell constituents that you will help them get their fair share. You can’t claim you are against the stimulus and then look to see how many millions and billions you can bring to your district.

Left Coast Rebel is another tea party blog that is working to promote Constitutional conservatives while weeding out RINO candidates. LCR is examining districts around the United States putting up red flags for Republican candidates that are running with a big ‘R’ platform.

LCR has been vocal in expressing support for little ‘r’ republicans that want to enforce the limits of the federal government. Normally, he wouldn’t get involved in other districts, but he has determined too much is on the line this election not to be more active in the election.
So conservatives and Republicans are breaking Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment. It’s not too hard to imagine that if Reagan was here today, he would probably be speaking up against what has taken place in the Republican party these days.

I must be doing something wrong

Like the 45RPM jacket sleeve says, I must be doing something wrong. It seems I lost a blog friend today. I guess my honest views on the healthcare bill are too much for some on the right. I may be cynical, but I'd rather be cynical, that delusional, but as crazy as it seems to me, affirming Scott Adams critique of blogs increases my site traffic. May be I can learn something here.

While I admit the deed isn't done, and Habitrail Harry Reid may not get the votes for cloture this time, it seems to me, the dems have a death wish, like a kamikaze pilot, you can shoot most of them down, but sooner or later, one is going to get through. I will reiterate this: The GOP has been at best ineffective at preventing the tide of fabianism in this country, and at worst complicit. If you don't believe me, ask Tim Daniels at LCR about The Overton Window.

Now on to something a little different...

While we are onto things done wrong, let's take a look at Sarah Palin. I love Palin and if she runs I would love to work for her in some way, BUT, someone needs to sit her down and tell her to get help...Not the kind you are thinking, but political advice. She would do well to hire Dick Morris as a consultant and help her with her brand and image. I think she has natural charisma, but it is not refined and she doesn't always think things through before she speaks. Just my opinion. I think she could be great, but she needs someone to help her. The problem may be, form what I have read, that she, like many politicians, she likes to surround herself with yes people. Giuliani is guilty of the same thing. Look at the results. Still, you have to love the Unsinkable Sarah. I wish her well no matter what she does.

Apostasy: Even The Right Guy will admit he is wrong

While my apostasy has nothing to do with Islam, I thought it was an interesting comic. Anyway...

My apostasy has to do with a blog post on LCR about Obama's CZARs. At the time, I thought the hubbub over the czars wasn't much more than another birther frenzy.

At the time, I had said something to the effect that we have better way and places to spend our energies to push back on Obama. Well, I was wrong. Unlike Fonzie, I can say it.

In light of how many communists, Maoists and socialists occupy czar positions, I have to say enough already. It is quite apparent that Obama intends to use bureaucrats to implement his policies, people that are only answerable to him. Like Wesley Mouch and his band of sycophants, Obama's czars intend on converting this nation from the number one economic,  social and military superpower, into a country that more closely resembles England, Denmark or any other of the feckless socialist democracies where people prefer to treated as farm animals rather than adult, unique individual human beings that are both free and responsible.

Since MaObama can appoint these people, it is up to us to shine a light on some of these idiots, like Anita Dunne, Van Jones and the most egregious, Ron Bloom.

Anyway, I was wrong.

Sunday Brunch With The Right Guy: The Inner Circle

This week was like no other. Coming out of post op, I thought someone was playing a joke on me when I first saw that MaObama won the Nobel Peace Prize. I was assured by Bug that I was not hallucinating, that indeed Obama had won it, and not only that, but nothing he has done, but for what he will do.

To that extent, I have used an image for this post that shows the next contest Obama must feel that he has to win. So far he's gotten honoraria from universities, Nobel prizes, the presidency, and now he is going head to head with Jesus in a Messiah-Off Contest. Al Jazeera has the odds 3-2 in the Obamessiah's favor, according to their spokesman.

Clay over at BBCW proposes that if you want to smell like a Nobel Prize winner, you have to go with BO.

Dr. Dave at Feed Your ADHD tells us Obama is a shoe in for the 2010 Miss Universe Title.

Nickie over at Goomba News tells us MaObama is 3rd in the Heisman voting.

Our most pro-second amendment buddy, the inestimable Dr. John R. Lott has decided to gloss over the Nobel celebrations to concentrate on why women like feminine men.

And my pal Sharky, over at Land Shark 5150 was even more incredulous than I was about the nobel, getting a case of agita.

Eric at LR was a little late to the party, with the LP reaction. Where is Eric's outrage? With the moonshine tax, of course.

Then there is my buddy and fellow super hero against autism, B&G Fan at The Right Stuff, giving her unique and compelling opinion about the Nobama prize.

Right Klick is on the case, describing it as the 2nd biennial anti-bush award. How about anti-common sense award? Then again we should call it the mmm, mmm, mmm Obama award.

Last but not least, the Smitty and RSM team have been at it again with their prolific FMJRA and Linky love. While there was outrage at the contest results, The Right Guy was admonished for that post. God has spoken.
