I am sure many of us feel the same way about Obama, but we do not get to show our disdain so publicly as Tatyana Limanova did on REN TV in Russia. You don't see this on Fox News or Glenn Beck TV. Too bad, although since she was fired for this, may be Glenn or Roger Ailes will hire her. Go Tatyana.

The Same Old Sunday Schweinerei

After a while, what else is there to talk about about? We all know what a fuck up Obama is, How screwed up the gulf oil spill is, how great Palin is, what a disappointment Palin is, how Tiger is going down the tubes, the continuing trend of losing privacy, the illegal immigration problems in this country, Islam, and it goes on and on, the same shit day after day.

You have to admit, my fellow bloggers, that we really just keep the shit merry go round turning. Nothing new here, just rehashing the same stories day after day with some interesting insight from time to time.

I know we mean well and and want things to change to fit our world view, but to be honest, where are we really going? Are we making a difference? We all can't be Sean Hannitys, Rush Limbaughs or Glenn Becks and it's not about talent either. The market is full of people like us, but I digress. I am sitting here on a Sunday afternoon, on father's day no less, with nary an idea of what to write about. It seems it has all been said dozens of times over to the point that everything starts to sound like talking points, whether or not it started out that way.

So here's my suggestion to all my peeps in the blogospheria: Talk a day or two off, have an adult beverage or two, talk to your wife and/or kids if so equipped, if not, call on a friend or family and if you are really hard up, call me. Whatever the case, take a break and lets see how long the shit merry go round lasts without us. My guess it's the journo-political version of the perpetual motion machine. It just keeps on keeping on, no matter what happens. If you are in my neck of the woods, you are welcome to stop by and I'll pour you a few fingers of some 18 year old scotch and we can bullshit about something more interesting like the meaning of life or how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. At the very least we will get a lot more accomplished.

Thousands Show Up To Protest The 9/11 Mosque: Where is the Media?

It what was a surprise turnout, thousands of people showed up in lower Manhattan to protest the 9/11 Mosque.

Leading the charge was Pam Geller from Atlas Shrugs, a libertarian/objectivist blog. From Atlas Shrugs:

Robert and I were expecting 500; imagine our wonder when close to 5,000 showed up. This is just the beginning. We are going to sue to designate the Burlington building a war memorial. There is a large piece of an airplane in that building. That is a war memorial. Instead of a mega mosque at ground zero, let's build a 911 war memorial to the victims. The current plan for a 911 museum is several floors underground, like a dungeon. And the mosque plan calls for the mosque to be on the top floor, looking down triumphantly on the burial ground of Ground Zero.

Pamela Geller did interviews with Al-Jazeera, AP, Chilean television, Italian television and many others; I was interviewed by Italian television and TV Asia. ABC? NBC? CBS? CNN? Even FOX? AWOL.

Good question El Marco. I mean Fox News should have been a shoe in for this and they ignored it. Are they afraid of the racism card? Did they get told not to do it and if so, by whom? I encourage everyone to watch Pat Condell's video about this, here at The Right Guy Show as he paints a grim picture as to their motives. The silence is deafening. I only wish I still lived in NY so I could have joined in with this protest. Kudos for Pam for being in the fight if not leading it. The fact AP and Al Jazeera interview Geller is incredible. If Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck had any balls, they'd be down there too, whether participating or interviewing, instead of eating caviar by the pool in Lloyds Neck and Greenwich (or Westport, or may be they got invited to Rush Limbaugh's wedding. Priorities. ).

Does Poll Reveal The Need For Tea Party?

A national poll revealed some interesting things. Allstate/National Journal Heartland Monitor poll revealed that 56% of voters say they have less confidence that elected officials in DC will make good financial and economic decisions, Just 48% approve of the job Obama is doing, while 46% disapprove,and Just 39% say they trust Obama more than GOPers in Congress.

what is most revealing is that 32% say they believe the GOP has the right ideas. That's right, only 32%. While Only 39% of voters said they would vote to re-elect Pres. Obama, Dems have a small 39%-35% advantage on the generic Congressional ballot.

This tells me that the GOP isn't bringing it on, that they aren't doing their job. They can't sell it because they don't have it. While the Democrats have showed their true colors and screwed us in the process, the GOP hasn't come up with anything and counting on the default vote won't do it.

Enter the Tea Party. They have classical liberal ideas and the backing of a large portion of independents. The GOP would like nothing more than to co-opt the Tea Party and use their constituency to get them in in November. What then? A roll back to RINO days where they screw us a little less than Pelosi and company? Could be. Judson Philips of the Tea Party swears it will be the Tea Party that will take over the GOP. Really?

While The Tea Party has amassed some popularity and momentum, not being a formal organization with a purpose beyond steering the GOP has limited their effect. Michael Steele aka Mr. Potato Head, doesn't have the fear of god in him yet. The GOP needs to recall the name "Whigs". The Tea Party should have coalesced in such a way as to foment that notion. They really have not. And the major disappointment for me has been Palin taking the middle road by being loyal to those that pissed on her for another 15 minutes. She may have designs for 2012, but fear of repeating the Bull Moose fiasco of 1912 should not stop her from taking the reins. Rush Limbaugh can't do it, neither will Glenn Beck and Certainly not Sean Hannity. This has to build like a tidal wave and wash everything away when it hits shore. Right now I am wondering if I will get more than one good wave to ride.

If you haven't heard it, the vote for Obamacare with probably be this Saturday. Dingy Harry has said the vote will be at 8pm, preceded by 10 hours of debate.

I really wish I could speak my mind, but unfortunately, the Secret Service would be at my door in minutes. All I can say is that these fabian socialist cowards have sold us down the river. I can only imagine that they believe that once they do their dastardly deed, it won't matter if they lose their jobs or not. It's like an explorer burning the ship to motivate the troops. It's a suicide move done in the context that they know they've won.

Right now we are facing the most drastic change to our country and economy extant. The government will control 48% of the economy after Saturday. We will be paying for this in advance for 3 years before in takes effect (there is so much wrong with the bill, it would take 10 posts to describe it all), and it will ruin what healthcare most of us do have. Not because they want to give a small percentage of the population healthcare insurance, but because they want people to become accustomed to being on the government dole. Again, they are bribing us with our own money, and we are fools to accept this. This is to create a class of people that are farm animals that will keep the farmers in charge. We are basically done.

The end game of this is to bring our society down to the lowest common denominator and in the end, to create a world where wealth does not exist. Almost everyone will suffer and/or be miserable together, where the ideals of excellence, pride, and self-interest will be no more. We will have become like farm animals producing for the collective. Sure, third world countries will do better than they do now, but it will be at the expense of those of us that have produced, that have risked and succeeded.

I wish I could blame only Obama or even the bunch of democrats in control, but the blame falls with the right as well and all of us. The answer is not the GOP. It never has been. They have been complicit in this debacle and while Rush, Sean and Beck have been wringing their hands (they've done little good), they are just the directors of the bread and circus stage right that have made sure to stash enough way to float out what they have left in there years. We will have three choices: Take the blue pill, the red pill or break out. In other words, we can join the collective, continue to play the loyal opposition, or do something meaningful. What do you want to do? At least John Galt had Galt's Gulch. I don't see anywhere that free men will be able to go, at least in the context of their end game. Like the old Winston commercial, would you rather fight than switch?

If you think I am being overly melancholy, depressive, dark, cynical, or over the top, ask yourself this question: Would you have thought this possible 3 years ago? Two years ago? Even a year ago? Time to wake up McFly.

The Nolan Chart: The Lecture From Glenn Beck

I took the survey at the Nolan Chart website. I got the address off of Glenn Beck's website. I was somewhat surprised that I came out so strongly libertarian, as I am pro-life (but my position is a libertarian one).  Many die hard libertine libertarians are pro-abortion, and the only reason I bring that up is that it seems to me there is a sizable demographic in that movement that is just that: Libertine, which is not really libertarian as it does not address responsibility, particularly when their right to do whatever they wish infringes on another's rights. It's anarchy to the extreme. I see libertarian as more minarchist, but we are getting away from the message.

What Worries Me

A friend of mine sent me a link the other day to Lew Rockwell's site, titled Is Obama really preparing for civil war.   The article was pulled, but god bless google for caching everything, right?

Anyway, the night before I had been listening to George Noory on Coast to Coast Am, which used to be The Art Bell Show. Before you start throwing brickbats, let me tell you that George et al cover topics no one else does and even with the tin foil crowd, it's the most interesting radio out there and you will learn more than listening to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck or Sean Hannity, but I digress here.

George had a guest on, G. Edward Griffin, who is a very knowledgeable writer and speaker. I highly recommend listing to the podcast and to check out his website. My friend's email along with the previous show got me thinking and worried. I responded to my friend thusly:

I will tell you this: If anything, he is waiting for a rebellion. There is a difference. Rebellions are conflict that are against something without an end game in sight, often without centralized leadership. In our history, rebellions are put down time after time. We need to be wary of that, as it is a loser out of the box. Even if a rebellion won, then what? In the case of our own revolution, our founders had a very good idea of what they wanted to do, how they wanted to do it, and were willing to discuss it. With rebellion, anarchy follows and some despot that is meet the new boss same as the old boss takes power.

My opinion, if Obama is wary and preparing for anything, it is possible secession. It’s my opinion that he wants to destroy the dollar (money control ed. listen to G. Edward Griffin.) and create a scenario that makes the NAU (North American Union) possible. He will also try to foment a global currency. Without our own currency, we will have given up sovereignty. Even the brits have kept the pound. What will happen is an economic adjustment that will push our worth down.  That will make people very unhappy. The pilot to this is healthcare. Obama et al are doing this inspite of public opinion. They know they have a short amount of time and once done, it’s almost impossible to undo. Basically, they are purposely driving us over the cliff.

The only solution is states rights. Gary who posts at LR is wrong. Redoing the districts for 100K people will do nothing much. The leadership of the states have to step in and say enough and be willing to back it up. Every state has it’s own military. Just like in the 1770’s, it was 13 states that agreed to split. While I am not officially endorsing revolution or secession, I will say with out some sort of united front from states invoking their 10th amendment rights, Obama wins.

That is the short and long of it. Obama et al are in fabian progressive socialist mode. Which is to say, approaching socialism progressively and deliberately. Yes, they know damn well their programs won't be repealed by future versions of congress, even if the GOP and other parties strike back next november. There's no precedence for it. My esteemed colleague Chuck Coffer offers the solution of term limits. Good start, but it is down the road and honestly, many pols don't see it in their best interests to do so anyway. We need to make it so. 


I have posited previously here that states are the key. States have standing in this fight and carry more weight than even a group of individuals, even very large ones. States also have better standing before SCOTUS. While I do not like courts making law, it is fully appropriate for them to knock down laws as unconstitutional and send it back to the legislative branch for fixing. This brings me back to my statement, what worries me. 


What worries me is a populace that would react with rebellion, but also not react at all and capitulate. Both of those are extremes that do not solve any problems. If we come to an impasse of major proportions, then it should be through the states that we act, with full authority of our 10th amendment rights, through non-violent means. This means Tea Party, this means 912ers, this means getting involved with a political party that opposes Obama and his fabian socialists, this means yelling from the rooftops that socialism is coming or unfortunately it is here. It also means getting rid of the scum left in congress and the senate by voting them out next November. If all that fails, then come back to me and we'll talk some more, but it won't be about anarchy non-sense or stupid ass rebellions.

Picking up the mantle of a murderer

As much as this photo shows a caring doctor in medical setting, it is purely for effect from the New York Times, trying to show this murderer as some sort of caring saint.

Dr. Carhart sees the need for late term abortions, and will perform them in the absence of his friend Dr. George R. Tiller.

As someone that was born 12 weeks premature, as a rationalist and as a christian,  I find it repulsive that someone would want to kill a baby that obviously could live on his/her own. I find it repulsive that anyone would want to kill any baby. This guy is no saint and a few of his employees quit when they found out the nature of the expansion of his practice. While I don't prescribe the fate Dr Tiller got to Dr. Carhart, I do believe abortion should be against the law. No matter what, Dr. Carhart will face the same cosmic justice Dr. Tiller faced at his final exam, and nothing we can do on this earth matches god's justice.

This is one more example of the out of touch mentality that the left promulgates, even in the evidence that they are not only wrong, but that they are out of step with the majority of Americans. These members of the government sponsored media are fomenting their positions through the government, with Obama at the helm. Think I am wrong? Read this.

The Dems Do It

Well, the Wicked Witch of New Orleans has done it, along with Blanche "Mama Yokum" Lincoln from Arkansas. Still think I am wrong? I called it before, and even before that.  All the right wing cheerleading for the last 18 months has been for naught. I am sure I will not get one freaking comment from my compatriots of liberty: There is no admitting defeat. Well, it looks like we are going down. Even if we make inroads in 2010 and get the white house back in 2012,  will all of this be repealed? No, it won't, It never has been, and it won't start now. Politicians in DC and almost everywhere else like the power they wield, given from us, and expressed with our hard earned money. We put too much faith in these mountebanks on both sides of the isle, and we have suffered the results.

What to do next? Well, some of you will succor to Rush, Glenn or Sean to hear the next talking points and/or inspirational diatribe on what's next.  More pablum from Mr. potato head and company. Rush will say continue fighting, while he moves to New Zealand, Glenn will tell everyone to stock 6 months of food in their basement and plan to move to Glennbeckistan, and Sean will say he is running in 2012 as the next Reagan, and a poor imitation at that. What these bread and circus directors seem to forget is that we lost on November 4, 2008, not today. We can't turn the clock back, and our choices are slim. I await commentary from my compatriots in liberty to give me a clue as to what is next. Any takers?

I must be doing something wrong

Like the 45RPM jacket sleeve says, I must be doing something wrong. It seems I lost a blog friend today. I guess my honest views on the healthcare bill are too much for some on the right. I may be cynical, but I'd rather be cynical, that delusional, but as crazy as it seems to me, affirming Scott Adams critique of blogs increases my site traffic. May be I can learn something here.

While I admit the deed isn't done, and Habitrail Harry Reid may not get the votes for cloture this time, it seems to me, the dems have a death wish, like a kamikaze pilot, you can shoot most of them down, but sooner or later, one is going to get through. I will reiterate this: The GOP has been at best ineffective at preventing the tide of fabianism in this country, and at worst complicit. If you don't believe me, ask Tim Daniels at LCR about The Overton Window.

Now on to something a little different...

While we are onto things done wrong, let's take a look at Sarah Palin. I love Palin and if she runs I would love to work for her in some way, BUT, someone needs to sit her down and tell her to get help...Not the kind you are thinking, but political advice. She would do well to hire Dick Morris as a consultant and help her with her brand and image. I think she has natural charisma, but it is not refined and she doesn't always think things through before she speaks. Just my opinion. I think she could be great, but she needs someone to help her. The problem may be, form what I have read, that she, like many politicians, she likes to surround herself with yes people. Giuliani is guilty of the same thing. Look at the results. Still, you have to love the Unsinkable Sarah. I wish her well no matter what she does.

Now Back To Our Regularly Scheduled Programming

The 912 Project/Tea Party march in Washington is now in the history books. Glenn Beck must be proud and I am sure others in the new right media are scrambling to get something out of this. All aboard!

Anyway, like on many nights, tonight I looked in the list of blogs I follow and I saw a lot of the same stories promulgated on many blogs, cross linked like the most sophisticated synthetic polymer with me too posts and populist straw man comments that show about as much though at times as Jocelyn Wildenstein does when she goes to her plastic surgeon. Then again, this is the way blogs are, no? Sometimes I think the blogosphere is nothing more than a mutual admiration society, one that I guess I don't exactly fit. There are times when I feel like Howard Stern when his father would say "shut up you moron!" On the hand, it is a way to get your voice heard, and for like people to form a loose confederation of voices that wish to foment real change. Which ever the case, I am still one voice.

There is one voice out there that I find is not like the others. While this person probably wouldn't piss on me if I was on fire, I think his blog is the best political blog extant and an example of refinement of thought not seen since WFB. He is a joy to listen to as well.

Back to the 912 March...I have to say I am pleased with the turnout and I think the attendance exceeded everyone's expectations. This should be a shot across the bow of obama's good ship das kapital. I don't think Obama will give a crap as he's a hubristic piece of fabian socialist shit and he has to pay back too may progressive socialists for getting him in office. On the other hand, every member of the house and senate better take note, as 2010 isn't that far off, and November 2010 will be a bad month for many of them. Look for a shift in power next year.

The Straw Man And The Magician

Sorry for the delay, but I've had the flu and then bronchitis.

I wanted to post this a while ago, and usually such stories are timely, but here goes. Lately we have ben bombarded with populist drivel in an effort to create straw men that keep us from dealing with the real issues and real culprits. Much has been made about the management at AIG getting bonuses, but what has been lost in the miasma is that Senator Dodd was the one that put in the bonus structure in TARP which allowed the AIG management to take bonuses. Wether or not you believe that they deserve it is irrelevant because they did something that was legal, and our congress and senate passed, and the president signed. While I think it is ill-advised for them to take the bonuses, they are legally entitled to them. Too add to the drama, some politicians want to haul the AIG head before congress, but wait, he was appointed by congress to run AIG...

Right now, Paul Shanklin was prescient with his rendition of "Barack the Magic Negro". I am not endorsing the song per se, but Barack is a magician. He has managed to distract with one hand while deceiving with the other. The demonization of wealth, success, and capitalism go beyond just a plain vanilla socialist agenda. It's about creating a constituency of voters that will keep Barack in power, by any means necessary. If you look at his election, he did not go the normal route that politicians take: Country Club republicans or Limousine Liberals. He took smaller donations from a much larger base. While the wealthy have contributed to political endeavors, their numbers are small and when it comes to actual votes, their voice is also small. When You look at the past, look at Napoleon, Lenin, and Hitler (lets throw in Castro as well), in this context. They used economic populism as a straw man to galvanize people to a common goal, that in the end was detrimental to their freedom, well being and safety. With the exception of Hitler, their policies in praxis actually set their countries back technologically, and financially on the outset and in some cases down the road as well.

Make no mistake, it is not a mistake in anything Obama does policywise and strategically. Tactically, he makes mistakes, but the press covers up for him. With the latest GM debacle, having Wagoner step down was an effort to one, show who was in charge, and two, to create a straw man to blame for the auto industries problems. The auto industries problems are come in a few flavors. One, they have taken on too much debt with the unions, particularly as with the benefits and pensions with retirees, and non-competitive wages. Toyota and Honda clean the big three's clock over this issues alone. They kept feeding the dragon instead of killing it. Two, there is too much government regulation which has had a negative impact on the vehicles they build. having to put more money into research to meet ever tightening emissions standards is a waste of time. You could argue the japanese car makers did it, and that is true, but they do not have to eat that all by themselves. Lastly, for a long time, they made cars no one wanted to buy and by the time they did, the perception was that they still couldn't make a car like that. Too Little too late.

Back to Barry. God is my judge, you will see Detroit, at least in the form of GM and Chrysler, be dictated to on what to build by the government (Right now, Go bless Ford). In that context, I think Obama wants the bailout to fail for GM et al and anything else (Can you say Chapter 11?). If the bailouts succeed initially, the government may not have the control that Obama envisions. Obama needs to create a dependent society for his agenda to succeed. That is the key. The society must look to government for solutions to all its problems. To this extent, Obama will even denigrate and subjugate the United States to the will of other countries. His success depends on destroying the idea of American Exceptionalism, of destroying our very truths, and our values in order to substitute his own. Marx called for the destruction of the whole social order and a call to destroy traditions. This is in contrast to the president we had at the turn of the last two centuries: Thomas Jefferson did not bow before royalty, but insisted on a hand shake, as did Theodore Roosevelt, whose presidency established the United States as a first class world power. This president sees us less that we are in the context of the world at large.

Obama is the first president since FDR to want power at any price. Whereas I am not convinced that FDR was a socialist, at least initially, he came to crave and keep the power even if it meant keeping the country down in the face of rational alternatives. Obama is much more ideologically centered than FDR. Obama wants the power all right, but he also has a dream that most of us would not want, but like FDR will create, foment and promulgate conditions for the attainment of both. Obama is both gangster and crusader, whereas FDR was pure gangster.

What comes next, you ask? Expect more diversionary tactics from the Obamessiah Time is of the essence and I bet he will not wait for the midterm elections to enact things such as nationalized healthcare, forced volunteer service, carbon credit climate plan, nationalized banks, wage control, nationalized auto manufacturers, and the The Free Choice Act, to name only a few. More straw men will be created, and if necessary, his henchmen will be thrown under the bus (Imagine Geitner's prospects in a year) for the purpose of pushing his socialist agenda on the citizens of the United States, putting us in such debt that we will never be able to get out of it and in the process curtailing our freedoms. It will be indentured servitude for the ages, and unwanted obligations that will destroy innovation, ambition and expectations of generations of Americans to come. While the prospect of becoming a quasi-socialist country like Denmark, Sweden or the UK (at best) may be appealing to some of you, I think that you really have lost the perspective of what it means to be a US citizen and what the US stands for. This loss is due to the fact that what is not earned is not appreciated. Read Eric Hoffer if you want a translation, specifically True Believer.

What can we do? Remain vigilant, vote for candidates that are not simpatico with Obama, and Think Freedom. Don't be fooled by the straw men that politicians will use to sway you and beware of mass movements in general. Your most powerful asset is your vote and it is your only voice. Also beware of movements that offer symbolism rather than real change. Symbolism is but a vent of your frustrations, whereas real change (and not Obamas type of change) requires personal responsibility, and action. Without action we are just playing with ourselves in the corner. No offense to Glenn Beck and his "We Surround Them" non-sense, but that is just an outlet that has no bite and only serves to peacefully quell the masses. The same with these bullshit tea parties. The signers of the Declaration of Independence did so at their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor. They had no intentions of symbolism, especially as it exists today. They were men of action. They were successful. Can you say the same, or is your Playstation and HD TV more important?

Most Americans are Dumb Aholes

Glenn Beck reported today that most Americans support socialism, according to a Fox Dynamics poll. According to the poll, 68% say the government should provide food, 66% said the government should supply paid Healthcare, 52% said the government should supply Housing, and 51% said the government should provide jobs. 

I don't even know where to begin as to why. Is it because we have become so lazy that we believe nothing should be earned? Is it because our socialist education system has indoctrinated our youth to the point where socialism is now acceptable? Is it because life has become so facile for Americans that they have lost touch with what it takes to make it? 

The answer is that it doesn't matter why. We now have a president who is the 21st century version of FDR, and for those that are Basso Cantante, that is Franklin Delano Roosevelt. One, BHO believes in socialism and socialism as the answer to racial and economic inequity. Two, BHO is moving to amass the power to create a socialism hegemony in this country such that our country will bear no recognition by it's founders or anyone born before the last quarter of the 20th century. This dictator is taking us down a road Josef Stalin wished he had but never could. Where is the fight? Where is the indignancy against  second handers, against facile dupes that enjoy their bread and circus, against those that care only about power? Where is the revolution against a dictator that will enslave us all? I only see it in a small percentage of the population engaged in any way. What we have in the republican party leadership now are people more focused on attaining the same power instead of preaching the message of freedom and responsibility. They are little better than what we have in the white house now. We need real people to stand up, who aren't tools for Team Geppetto, who aren't looking for celebutards to lead them, who demand real change and leave hope for those that are hopeless. If we do not do it now, we are screwed for longer than any of us will be around.

President Tom, as Glen Beck calls him, is at it again with regards to Israel. When will the MSM admit this guy want to destroy Israel? Probably never, considering the Times now takes advertisements from Al Jazeera.
