Glenn Beck reported today that most Americans support socialism, according to a Fox Dynamics poll. According to the poll, 68% say the government should provide food, 66% said the government should supply paid Healthcare, 52% said the government should supply Housing, and 51% said the government should provide jobs.
I don't even know where to begin as to why. Is it because we have become so lazy that we believe nothing should be earned? Is it because our socialist education system has indoctrinated our youth to the point where socialism is now acceptable? Is it because life has become so facile for Americans that they have lost touch with what it takes to make it?
The answer is that it doesn't matter why. We now have a president who is the 21st century version of FDR, and for those that are Basso Cantante, that is Franklin Delano Roosevelt. One, BHO believes in socialism and socialism as the answer to racial and economic inequity. Two, BHO is moving to amass the power to create a socialism hegemony in this country such that our country will bear no recognition by it's founders or anyone born before the last quarter of the 20th century. This dictator is taking us down a road Josef Stalin wished he had but never could. Where is the fight? Where is the indignancy against second handers, against facile dupes that enjoy their bread and circus, against those that care only about power? Where is the revolution against a dictator that will enslave us all? I only see it in a small percentage of the population engaged in any way. What we have in the republican party leadership now are people more focused on attaining the same power instead of preaching the message of freedom and responsibility. They are little better than what we have in the white house now. We need real people to stand up, who aren't tools for Team Geppetto, who aren't looking for celebutards to lead them, who demand real change and leave hope for those that are hopeless. If we do not do it now, we are screwed for longer than any of us will be around.

If you must know, I stole that tag line from my brother in law. He used to write a column on Long Island and he always wrote at the end of the article, thank you for reading this article. It's my own pun on him, but you'd have to know him. I guess it's my own inside joke.
As a matter of note: The majority of the citizens leading up to the revolution were complacent to be subjected to whatever The king and parliment threw at them. It took the sons of liberty to stir them up to realize what their rights were. Rights that ARE NOT given by the govt. They are only to be protected by the govt.
Your blog serves as but one of the modern trees of liberty I hope other patriots will gather under to address the grievances with our elected govt.

Well, about 30% of Americans believe in Evolution, so I'd say most Americans are incredibly stupid.
