Rush Limbaugh Taken to Hospital with Chest Pains

"Rush was admitted to and is resting comfortably in a Honolulu hospital today after suffering chest pains," the statement said. "Rush appreciates your prayers and well wishes and will keep you updated via and on his radio program."

That is good new indeed.

Rush Limbaugh was taken to the hospital while on vacation  in Hawaii. He was reported to have suffered chest pains and was taken to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition. Updates will follow.

13 State Attorney Generals Threaten Suit

Thirteen republican attorney generals are threatening to sue the federal government if the provision that was granted to Bob Nelson.

Republican attorneys general in 13 states say congressional leaders must remove Nebraska's political deal from the federal health care overhaul bill or face legal action, according to a letter provided to The Associated Press Wednesday.

"We believe this provision is constitutionally flawed," South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster and the 12 other attorneys general wrote in the letter to be sent Wednesday night to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Henry McMaster Continues:

"As chief legal officers of our states we are contemplating a legal challenge to this provision and we ask you to take action to render this challenge unnecessary by striking that provision," they wrote.

What is confusing to me is, why not be against the bill en toto? Why just an earmark/bribe provision? With all the talk from Gov. Perry of Texas, this seems a little weak. It is like, "we didn't get our cut, so we'll whine about it until either you take away their candy or give us some". May be it's just low hanging fruit with which to break balls over, but somehow it seems weak for that. Or is it to weaken Bob Nelson? That's a lot or work to unseat a senator that is already down 30% in the polls. If this is all the GOP has to stand on, it's kind of lame. I mean, Harry Reid will willing throw Nelson under the bus with this and remove it or weaken it, just to get the AGs off his back. Then what? Like I said, it seems weak.

Hero of the Day: Jasper Schuringa

Hero of the Day and honorary libertarian republican

Jasper Schuringa was the man of the hour, savior of the people on Northwest flight 253 as he took action and manhandled the terrorist that attempted to blowup the plane. Geert Wilders has proposed a national honor for Mr. Schuringa in his native homeland of Holland.

From the Libertarian Republican:

Shortly before landing passengers smelled smoke, they saw a glow and they heard something that sounded like firecrackers went off. "First there was a sort of bang and then there was smoke," said Dutchman Peter Smith.

Schuringa told CNN that he heard a bang. "Somebody started yelling fire, fire!" Then he saw smoke and he noted that the Nigerian did not move. Then he began to suspect that something was not right. He jumped over the passenger next to him and hurried to the Nigerian.

They appeared to have his pants open and a burning object between his legs to keep. "I took that thing off him, tried to extinguish fire with my hands and threw it away." Schuringa the Nigerian pulled from his place, and dragged him to the front of the plane. The Nigerian seemed stunned. "He stared into nothing."

Mr. Wilders, give that man a medal.

Government Bureaucrat Keeps Soldiers from Coming Home

According to an unnamed source: "Currently the deployed members of the 132nd are stuck in Germany. Weather delay? Not now. We are being held here because of one person. The customs agent in Des Moines doesn't want to come into work until 8 am. So, were here for over 24 hours because one man doesn't want to be inconvienenced.
Only with pressure from the media might this change, so I'm asking all of you to make a phone call to your local station to have them ask the question WHY can't a federal employee help troops returning from war? Why must nearly 300 families wait an addtional 12 or so hours because ONE man won't come in early? Thank you for your time." Anonymous

Is this ridiculous? Is this just a normal symptom of what government is, or is it a harbinger of things to come? The soldier in question shall remain anonymous, at least from my standpoint, but I will say this is reprehensible.

Frederick Douglass 2008-2009

Frederick Douglass L. left this mortal coil yesterday morning. Only a young lad, we expected his tenure to be much longer. Fred was found in a neighbors yard, having gotten sick on something. I am a sure a liberal had something to do with it.

Fred was a life long republican, like his namesake, and he detested liberals as scum of the earth. He also hated rabbits, mice and other small animals that invaded his territory, which he dispatched with the joyful aplomb that only Dick Chaney would love.

Fred was also a god fearing cat, and being a Roman Catholic, he liked orthodoxy and ritual. He also liked Santa and any gifts were naturally appreciated. He was quite fond of high quality cat nip and loved to play with his toys.

Fred left behind a family that loved him and he will be sorely missed. He was a good cat, was never a burden or a chore, and he loved his family as much as any cat would.

Fred would have appreciated it if donations could be made in his name to the republican party, the Tea Party, and any worthy endeavor that promoted the destruction of socialism, progressivism, and liberalism in a 20th century context. Fred was what some would call a libertarian republican. He believe in free-market capitalism, individual initiative and personal responsibility.

We will miss you Fred. See you down the road.

The Des Moines Register Doesn't Get It Again:Gun Rights are a natural right, not a states right

While they were on a roll, The Des Moines Register decided to take another swipe at the Right with an article "New Push by NRA in Iowa creates Firefight".   The author quotes some alleged gun rights people as being against the measures proposed by the NRA, which are to allow people that are legally entitled to carry a concealed weapon to be allowed to have guns stored in their cars at work or in a locker at work. The author continues and says that this violates a sheriffs discretion. First off, Iowa is not a shall issue state and in spite of the second amendment being a federal constitutional amendment, we have counties here where the sheriffs deny anyone a pistol license. As far as I am concerned, all states should be shall issue, which means that as long as a person is not a convicted felon or had spent time in a mental institution, they should be allowed to get a license to carry a concealed weapon.

Saying this violates property rights is a little bit of a red herring. Governments have no problem violating property rights with eminent domain, often arbitrarily and with disproportionate compensation. I have yet to see The Des Moines Register or any other rag come out against Eminent Domain, even in the cases where the property wasn't for development by the government, but by private companies. With the continuation of laws that are passed to restrict gun ownership and exercising that right, there is going to be push back. In my state, even people that are lawfully allowed to carry a concealed weapon cannot do so within 1000' of a school or government property. How does this make anyone safer? Someone intent on using a firearm illegally will disregard the law and those who follow it will be their mercy and be a victim. It is my assertion that the anti-gun crowd wish to create more victims as a way to crete fervor against gun ownership.

The Des Moines Register is just another left wing rag that is pro-socialist, pro-big government, and pro-abortion. While the article tries to pepper itself with quotes against the bill from gun rights people, I would bet most gun rights people want both Iowa to be a Shall Issue state and that we should be allowed to carry our firearms anywhere we are welcome. Let me ask you this: Should free speech be interpreted to be only in suitable places? What about the practice of religion? What about the right to be secure in our persons? All these rights the Left champions even to the extent with religion to give religious status to beliefs that are not religion, but when it comes to a constitutional right as to keep and bear arms, they are silent. Where do you stand?

What David Mastio and The Des Moines Register Do Not Understand

In an article Cash for Quitters in the Des Moines Register, David Mastio equates supporting Palin in any way (this includes buying her book), as counter productive to the GOP cause. As I said in yesterday's piece They are doing it again: I told you so, the GOP is afraid of the Tea Party movement, 912ers and Sarah Palin. They are afraid of change, just as the Whigs were afraid of abolition. I would ask David, why keep supporting the same old RINO do what they want party elite republicans? We elect these right wing mountebanks or vote for them, even when they are less than in 70% agreement, sometimes less than 50%. Why? Because they are under the GOP flag? Can we say Scozzafava? Einstein said doing the same thing over and over again, yet expecting different results is insanity. Voting and supporting the same old GOP is insane.

While I am not a big Palin supporter, as you could see in in my post What Worries me part 2, I find it self-serving of GOP waterboys to shovel the drivel David Mastio did, particularly without a battle plan. Right now, I don't see anyone on the GOP side that is worthy to be president. A big mistake was made in supporting McCain, as it was the same old it's my turn BS. The GOP has moved left in response to the dems moving further left. This is a mistake. There are plenty people on the right left out in the cold by this and that is why the Tea Party and 912ers formed. We are both sick of the socialistic expansion of government by both parties and sick of what would be our party, the GOP, further alienate us with picks like Scozzafava, and support of platforms not in line with what we believe. There is a price to pay for that, and ignoring the Tea Party Right is a big mistake and it will come home to roost if the GOP leadership continue to ignore them.

i can't speak for Mastio's motivations other than he is a waterboy of the likes of Hannity and Limbaugh. As far as the Des Moines Register is concerned, they are like the old Pravda and would like nothing more than to support watered down RINO candidates (Can we say McCain and Branstad?) that would either lose to their more strongly supported Democrat candidates or if they won, they wouldn't be a threat to what the editorial staff at the DM register believe and promulgate in their rag.

They are doing it again: I told you so

As most of my fellow right-libertarian-conservative bloggers have been railing against Diabolus Ex Machina (Even Chavez smells sulphur), The Grand Dragon Of Magic, Misdirection and Malefaction has been hard at work making sure that his agenda is successful. Has it been fruitful? Today we see that they passed a defense bill (and look who gets to spend it), with the capitulation of Leiberman and Nelson, now Reid has the votes for the "Healthcare" bill,  Obama sold our soul in Copenhagen (as he races home to a blizzard), because we only have 50 days to save the world, and the best that the right can do is have a readathon of the healthcare bill to slow it down. On top of this, Iran invades Iraq, while we are there mind you, and we do nothing. Talk about taking it in the back door. What side is this guy on?

In spite of what my cohorts say about "we'll have a great 2010 and 2012", I wish we would come to our senses and admit it, that we lost. We lost in 2008, and we've lost the idealogical battle on capitol hill. While we may win next year and in 2012, THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A PRECEDENT OF OVERTURNING ANY GOVERNMENT LARGESSE.

The only way we can get beyond this is to come to our senses, admit reality, learn from it, and not repeat the same bullshit that Steele wants to perpetrate on us in the coming months. The GOP is feckless, and is rotten at the core. It's needs a heart and brain transplant. and that needs to come from the Tea Party people and 912ers. The problem is the GOP is deadly afraid of the Tea Party people. I heard Craig Robinson of the Iowa Republican on the Steve Deace Show  say the he and the Iowa GOP wish the Tea Party people would go away and that they are too ideologically diverse to be republicans. What a pompous myopic ass. He likes his seat at the table, and the power that it gives those there. Unfortunately,  nothing will change if RINOs like these keep the power they have. The status quo hasn't worked, the republicans gave the dems everything in 2006 and 2008 because of their fecklessness and I see no change if they get back in control next year. They are tax and spend moderates that want to give their special interests tax breaks and other perks. It's time for an overhaul and just as the dems are doing things that will reek havoc on their gip on power, this does not mean there is a mandate for McLame republicans to do their moderate best. If you don't believe me, look what a short time it took for the GOP to throw the socons under the bus after they got what they wanted and morover, before they were the GOP, they were the Whigs.

At this point, the best of all possibilities is that the Tea Party people take over the platform, agenda and direction of the GOP. It's needed IF the GOP wants to remain the GOP. If not, the Tea Party people will supplant and replace the GOP, just as the GOP replaced the Whigs. We will see if the GOP leadership is as intransigent as I believe it is. Of course, what is a leader without a movement. While I have my reservations about Sarah, I can see her taking the reins with this. Of course the GOP will cry to the tune of 1912 with TR and the Bull Moose Party, but my narrative says it would be 1860 with the rising GOP ex Whigs. What do you think?

Muslims push Radical Anti-Gay Laws across Sub-Saharan Africa

By Eric Dondero of the Libertarian Republican

According to Eric, "There was some breaking news last night.  The BBC is in a world of shit.  They ran a controversial poll asking readers if they thought it was okay, "to kill Homosexuals."  That's right, the friggin' LIBERAL!!!  BBC.

American Gays are caught in a trap of their own political correctness. Same with the liberal media, folks like that bitch Rachel Maddow.  They're all spinning this as somehow to be blamed on Rick Warren of all people!!

Who will tell the real story?  Only Libertarians, specifically Right Libertarians.  Why?  Cause we support True Tolerance.

I hate to say this, but the Christian Right can't defend themselves in this.  They can only go so far, and then they're own anti-Homosexual elements will push back.

The Liberals of course, won't pin it on the true culprits, African Muslims, cause they're a politically protected group.  If you read some pieces on this like the CNN story, you will see some very mild mentions of Muslim Clerics being behind this.  But you gotta look close."
The Right Guy is against any government religion, whether an atheistic socialism or a fundamental muslim state. What I find ironic is that the left will not touch this yet they will blame this on Rick Warren. Rick Warren is as far from this issue in Uganda as is an apple on the moon (I am not a fan of Rick Warren). While Christianity eschews homosexuality, we are taught to love the sinner, hate the sin, and that anyone can receive reconciliation, redemption, and grace, if they follow the way. Killing people because of this is out of the question in any Christian religion. As a right blogger and Christian I condemn Uganda and Islam because of this action.

Uganda, Rwanda starting to feel Heavy Hand of Muslim Fundamentalism

From Eric Dondero:

Islam is on the rise across Sub-Saharan Africa, including Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Nigeria. And estimated 9.5 million Muslims now live in Uganda, for example. That is approximately 12.1% of the population (2004 figures). The Muslim dominated Luo Tribe headed by Raila Odinga now has a power sharing arrangement for the first time with the formerly Christian-dominated government of Kenya. Nigeria is suffering from a bloody civil war in its northern region with Muslim Separatists supported by Jihadist groups in Sudan, and Niger.

With the increase in fundamentalist Islam in the region comes an increasing push to institute laws consistent with Sharia. Among these include radical Anti-Homosexuality laws.

Homosexuality is already outlawed in 38 out of 53 African nations, all in Muslim or Muslim-dominated countries. Now Muslim groups are pushing for the sexual identity to be outlawed in countries previously immuned to Islamic domination.

From the Population Institute website:

Nigeria has a similar bill waiting to reach its statute books and already allows the death penalty for homosexuality in northern states, as does Sudan. Burundi criminalised homosexuality in April this year, joining 37 other African nations where gay sex is already illegal. Egypt and Mali are creeping towards criminalization, using morality laws against same-sex couples.
Rwanda, which suffered from one of the worst genocides in human history in the early 1990s, is the first of these countries to consider completely outlawing Homosexuality.

From Queerty:

On December 16, 2009, the lower house of the Rwandan Parliament will hold its final debate on a draft revision of the penal code that will, for the first time, make homosexuality a crime in Rwanda.
Neighboring Uganda has followed suit.

CNN reported on December 9 that the Ugandan Parliament is debating severe restrictions on Homosexuals. The "Anti-Homosexuality Bill" includes these provisions:

• Gays and lesbians convicted of having gay sex would be sentenced, at minimum, to life in prison

• People who test positive for HIV may be executed

• Homosexuals who have sex with a minor, or engage in homosexual sex more than once, may also receive the death penalty
According to CNN:

A leading Muslim cleric, Sheikh Ramathan Shaban Mubajje, has called for gays to be rounded up and banished to an island until they die.
Also, Sheikh Nsereko Mutumba, the public relations officer of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council has been quoted as saying:

We believe that Allah created us to multiply and worship him. How will a gay do that? Muslims are aware that homosexuality is a sin and I am sure that the churches also teach that this vice is a sin and unacceptable in any society.
The International Community has been slow to react. Political sensitivities with its native Muslim population have kept the United Kingdom from denouncing the Ugandan legislation. In the US the Obama administration, through Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is now just beginning to issue mild and carefully worded criticisms.

Ironically, it has been Christians who have been the strongest and quickest in their reactions against the anti-homosexual proposals. A coalition of Christian leaders in the US strongly condemned the actions of the Ugandan Government and issued the following statement:

"Regardless of the diverse theological views of our religious traditions regarding the morality of homosexuality, in our churches, communities and families, we seek to embrace our gay and lesbian brothers and sisters as God's children, worthy of respect and love," the statement read.

Is Christianity a mental disorder?

A second grader was sent home for psychiatric evaluation because he drew Jesus on a crucifix. According to his father:

Chester Johnson told WBZ-TV that his son made the drawing on Dec. 2 after his second-grade teacher asked children to sketch something that reminded them of the holiday.
said the teacher became upset when his son said he drew himself on the cross. Johnson, who is black, told WBZ he suspects racism is involved. He said he thinks the school overreacted and wants an apology...The boy was cleared to return to school on Dec. 7 after the evaluation found nothing to indicate that he posed a threat to himself or others. But his father said the boy was traumatized by the incident and the school district has approved the family's request to have the child transferred to another school.

"They owe my family an apology and the kid an apology and they need to work with my son (to) the best of their ability to get him back to where he was before all this happened," Johnson told New England Cable News.

An 8 year old draws Jesus on the cross, and he's nuts, but if a muslim kid said allah akbar after his kin flew planes into buildings that is ok. An atheist could pee on a cross, and that is ok, as it is self expression.  The socialists we have in education are over the top. When will we get common sense and a sense of decency in education? These fools need to take a step back or get a good kick in the ass. Where is Ron Kuby when you need him? Mr. Johnson, you deserve more than an apology.

What Worries Me Part 2

As a continuation of a previous article, What Worries Me, I want to describe the flipside to Obama succeeding in a Fabian socialist agenda, which is Obama losing in 2012 as opposed to winning and succeeding in his agenda. What if the right drives over a cliff and we election another candidate that relies on the cult of personality? Below a definition of cult of personality from Wikipedia:

A cult of personality arises when a country's leader uses mass media to create an idealized and heroic public image, often through unquestioning flattery and praise. Cults of personality are often found in dictatorships and Stalinist governments.
A cult of personality is similar to general hero worship, except that it is created specifically for political leaders. However, the term may be applied by analogy to refer to adulation of religious or non-political leaders.

I would say that this definition fits nicely with Obama, at least initially. Obama tries to be a modern day FDR, except even more Fabian in nature. This is evidenced not only but the absolute incredulous and irrational adulation of his supporters but the control he has so far been successful with over the mainstream media. He has done so not with fear, but of agreement in principle. This had helped create an image of Obama that got him elected. What he and his magical handlers did count on and what FDR did not have to deal with, is the nature of media today. It’s available to more people today and much, much more quickly. The opposition media in the country has served as a balance to what I like to call the “government run media”. In reality they are the government-controlled media through manipulation through likeness in alleged beliefs. The end result of this is that Obama, as of this date, has an approval rating of 44%, which is a record in terms of the speed of decline for a new president.

So, what worries me? What worries me is that the opposition in this case might use the same tools, the same methods to promote and elect a leader in response to Obama. The difference would be that instead of an alliance between the mainstream media and the democrat candidate, the alliance would be between the opposition candidate and a grassroots mob if you will that circumvents the mainstream media’s efforts. In this case, you could say I am talking about Sarah Palin, although it could be someone else that pops up between now and 2011, when candidates get serious about running.
Why worry about Palin you ask? I will tell you this much: I like Palin, but not for clearly rational reasons. I am intellectually honest enough to say so, whereas some of my colleagues on the right are not so honest, and winning is more important than results afterwards, that we have to live with. Sound familiar? Palin is attractive, communicates well, and connects with people in a way we haven’t seen since Clinton or Reagan. Obama is more of a media creation, and connects with TotUS better than people. Anyway, if I take a step back and analyze what I know about Palin, the picture is not as rosy as her supporters would seem.

Palin is a former governor of Alaska. Sounds good, but not even one full term. Before that she was a mayor of Wasilla Alaska. Before that…? Compared to Obama, she has much more experience as an executive (Obama has none), but she doesn’t have a lot of experience when you compare her to Reagan, Clinton or even W. I am not sure we need another candidate that sweet-talks the camera and appeals on an emotional level. I think this is dangerous and we have seen the results of such choices. I think considering our current problems we need someone that can hit the ground running, not someone that will need on the job training. We have that now. My treatise here isn’t to bash Palin, nor is it about finding the perfect candidate, just the observation that one, we can do better, and two, we need to be careful about who we pick, because it really counts this time, and we have one shot to get it right. I think if she does her homework and does the right things, in 10 years she could be a viable candidate.

So what to do? I would like to see the Tea Party and 912er people get a little more politically involved and spread the liberty theme around, making it mainstream. The GOP has to be made to understand that it is not going to be business as usual: Placate an internal constituency before the election and forget about them afterwards. Republicans are famous for this. If this happens in 2010, the GOP should go the way of the Whigs. The only two things that have been on their side in the last year are an incompetent president and a democrat congress that has been bent on turning our country into a socialist nation. What the GOP should not glean from this is some sort of mandate that allows them to take power like a fat kid gloms fresh baked cookies from his grandma’s kitchen table. Obama made a similar mistake in thinking he got elected because of a socialist mandate. Wrong. In this scenario, Palin would do well as she would say “bugger off, I am doing it my way”. It seems that the GOP is like an ADD kid that needs to be reminded of his responsibilities on a regular basis. After a while, you have to ask, do we really need this?

So, I do worry how this will play out. I am heartened at times, particularly today upon hearing that two large banks, Wells Fargo and Citi, are going to pay off the government loans and get the government out of their business. Bravo and long live capitalism. I am a patient sort, willing to wait and see, are you? What do you think?

We the People: Wide Awake For Our Newest Birth of Freedom - Thaddeus McCotter

McCotter in action

We Are Wide Awake

They were "Wide Awakes" - Americans marching through sleepy hamlets for candidate Abraham Lincoln and the cause of human freedom. They were "Republicans!"

Today, Republicans continue to embrace our enduring duty to:

1. Expand human liberty and self-government;
2. Conserve our cherished way of life and its foundations of faith, family, community and country;
3. Empower Americans to achieve constructive, necessary change; and
4. Defend America's national security

And we act upon five permanent principles:

1. Our liberty is from God not the government;
2. Our sovereignty is in our souls not the soil;
3. Our security is from strength not surrender;
4. Our prosperity is from the private sector not the public sector; and
5. Our truths are self-evident not relative

Order here.

What Worries Me

A friend of mine sent me a link the other day to Lew Rockwell's site, titled Is Obama really preparing for civil war.   The article was pulled, but god bless google for caching everything, right?

Anyway, the night before I had been listening to George Noory on Coast to Coast Am, which used to be The Art Bell Show. Before you start throwing brickbats, let me tell you that George et al cover topics no one else does and even with the tin foil crowd, it's the most interesting radio out there and you will learn more than listening to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck or Sean Hannity, but I digress here.

George had a guest on, G. Edward Griffin, who is a very knowledgeable writer and speaker. I highly recommend listing to the podcast and to check out his website. My friend's email along with the previous show got me thinking and worried. I responded to my friend thusly:

I will tell you this: If anything, he is waiting for a rebellion. There is a difference. Rebellions are conflict that are against something without an end game in sight, often without centralized leadership. In our history, rebellions are put down time after time. We need to be wary of that, as it is a loser out of the box. Even if a rebellion won, then what? In the case of our own revolution, our founders had a very good idea of what they wanted to do, how they wanted to do it, and were willing to discuss it. With rebellion, anarchy follows and some despot that is meet the new boss same as the old boss takes power.

My opinion, if Obama is wary and preparing for anything, it is possible secession. It’s my opinion that he wants to destroy the dollar (money control ed. listen to G. Edward Griffin.) and create a scenario that makes the NAU (North American Union) possible. He will also try to foment a global currency. Without our own currency, we will have given up sovereignty. Even the brits have kept the pound. What will happen is an economic adjustment that will push our worth down.  That will make people very unhappy. The pilot to this is healthcare. Obama et al are doing this inspite of public opinion. They know they have a short amount of time and once done, it’s almost impossible to undo. Basically, they are purposely driving us over the cliff.

The only solution is states rights. Gary who posts at LR is wrong. Redoing the districts for 100K people will do nothing much. The leadership of the states have to step in and say enough and be willing to back it up. Every state has it’s own military. Just like in the 1770’s, it was 13 states that agreed to split. While I am not officially endorsing revolution or secession, I will say with out some sort of united front from states invoking their 10th amendment rights, Obama wins.

That is the short and long of it. Obama et al are in fabian progressive socialist mode. Which is to say, approaching socialism progressively and deliberately. Yes, they know damn well their programs won't be repealed by future versions of congress, even if the GOP and other parties strike back next november. There's no precedence for it. My esteemed colleague Chuck Coffer offers the solution of term limits. Good start, but it is down the road and honestly, many pols don't see it in their best interests to do so anyway. We need to make it so.

I have posited previously here that states are the key. States have standing in this fight and carry more weight than even a group of individuals, even very large ones. States also have better standing before SCOTUS. While I do not like courts making law, it is fully appropriate for them to knock down laws as unconstitutional and send it back to the legislative branch for fixing. This brings me back to my statement, what worries me.

What worries me is a populace that would react with rebellion, but also not react at all and capitulate. Both of those are extremes that do not solve any problems. If we come to an impasse of major proportions, then it should be through the states that we act, with full authority of our 10th amendment rights, through non-violent means. This means Tea Party, this means 912ers, this means getting involved with a political party that opposes Obama and his fabian socialists, this means yelling from the rooftops that socialism is coming or unfortunately it is here. It also means getting rid of the scum left in congress and the senate by voting them out next November. If all that fails, then come back to me and we'll talk some more, but it won't be about anarchy non-sense or stupid ass rebellions.

Freedom=Low Crime: Why Switzerland gets it and the rest of Europe does not

H/T William "Wild Bill" Donovan

I will let the video speak for itself. The Author asserts that Switzerland is one of the safest European countries and when you compare it to England, Italy or France, it becomes apparent that the biggest difference between the countries is that the people in Switzerland are armed. Would Obama agree? Where are we going with this as a country? Comments?

An Open Letter to the Democrats From Dick Morris: The Charge Of The 280 Dems

Published on on December 8, 2009

Let's first channel Alfred, Lord Tennyson from his poem "The Charge of the Light Brigade":

Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred (two-hundred eighty)
"Forward the Light Brigade!
Charge for the guns," he said
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred. (two-hundred eighty)

"Forward, the Light Brigade!"
Was there a man dismay'd?
Not tho' the soldier knew
Someone had blunder'd:
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred. (two-hundred eighty)

But still you charge. Still you vote for a bill the American public has repudiated, after extensive debate, by 18 points. Still you back legislation that seniors oppose by two to one. Still you use your majorities to pass the single most unpopular piece of legislation in recent history.

Civil rights, Social Security, women's suffrage -- all of Harry Reid's metaphors -- were popular and had broad approving majorities. This bill has the opposite: a nation paralyzed with fear for what you are about to do to its healthcare.

Will you listen to the elderly who absorb 40 percent of medical care and not to the AARP, which you have bought by way of a promise to eliminate Medicare Advantage?

Will you listen to the doctors of America, two to one in opposition, and not to the AMA, which you have bludgeoned into submission via your threats of reimbursement cuts?

Will you stop to examine how, as Democrats, you can vote to slice $500 billion from Medicare and cut home healthcare? Former comrades-in-arms, former party-mates, do not commit party-cide by passing this bill!

Is this to be your epitaph? That you put all healthcare under government control? That your legacy is to be the waiting list to see a doctor? That the memorial to your public service is to be the denial of care at a bureaucrat's whim?

Many of you must know that you are sacrificing your careers. Can Blanche Lincoln, Byron Dorgan, Harry Reid and others really believe they will return?

Can any of you believe you will remain in the majority after you have so flouted the obvious will of your constituents?

Why does this pied piper have such power over you? His approval is sinking in every poll at a pace unprecedented for presidents. If he promises you judgeships, ambassadorships, Cabinet posts or other patronage to enliven your retirement, can you doubt that there is but a two-year term in the offing?

And think about what the deficit you are creating will do to your country. The nation you have already burdened with so much debt that you know and we all know that inflating the currency is the only way out! In your souls you must know that in five years and 10 years and 15vyears, it will be the skyrocketing cost of the system you now put in place that will animate future deficits. You must realize that the CBO estimates are a fiction created by 10 years of taxing divided by six years of spending.

What has gotten into you? Where are your senses? What happened to your instincts?

Are you all to line up and drink the Kool-Aid, march off the cliff in lockstep? Charge into the cannon?

Charging an army, while
All the world wonder'd:
Then they rode back, but not
Not the six hundred.

Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon behind them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
While horse and hero fell,
They that had fought so well
Came thro' the jaws of Death
Back from the mouth of Hell,
All that was left of them,
Left of six hundred.

Have you truly worked for this all your life: to sacrifice your political careers to pass the most unpopular piece of legislation I can ever remember passing Congress?

Barbara Boxer Continues Senatorial Ignorance

If it wasn't ignorant enough that Harry Reid tried paint the republicans as modern variants of proslavery democrats because they don't support Obamacare, now we have Barbara Boxer, the liberal sfacime senator from California making the assertion that denying the funding of abortion is the same as denying paying for a man's prescription for viagra.

Obviously Boxer doesn't have the facilities to recognize the differences in both the purpose of each and the consequences. Abortion is killing a human being, most often because it's an inconvenience. In fact, over 97%.

Viagra is for the purpose of making an impotent man have an erection. Generally erections are for the purpose of creating human beings. Most men that use viagra are probably over 40, if not 50. Generally speaking, viagra enhances a man's self-esteem, not to mention his partner's appreciation. Just ask Enzyte Bob. :)

On the other hand, the consequences of abortion are not so rosey. Many women who get abortions suffer depression, loss, and grieve. They have killed their own and no matter why they got it done, the effects are life long. Many women that get abortions have problems conceiving because of the physical effects of having the abortion because of damage to the uterus.

Neither abortion or viagra have a place in the healthcare debate. One, abortion isn't healthcare, it is death.  The american people shouldn't have to subsidize death. I also think that if a man want to get a woody, even if he cannot not without pharmaceutical help, he should pay for it himself. Americans don't need to be responsible for what happens with that either.

This is just another case of cum hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy thinking that the democrats are using because they are desparate. Their backs are to the wall because the american people do not want Obamacare, they don't want a socialized government of healthcare and in spite of this, the dems are intent on shoving this don our throats, even at the peril of their jobs. The lesson that is lost on them is that emotional appeals are the last refuge of morons.

So, did Boxer act alone, or did she get marching orders from Barack or MoBama? I suppose we'll never know, but in this case, she was following Hairy Dweeb's lead and did this one from the heart. Still, she's wrong, as usual, and again, the dems keep digging for lower lows.

The only conclusion I can make from all of this is that  the dems must be real true believers in socialism and marxism. There's no other way to explain why they would pull these stunts when they have such opposition from the american people. They would rather believe they are right, rather than listening to their constituencies or re-examining their values. Either way, they probably will be done next November. While this may seem to bode well for the GOP, I wouldn't put all my hope with them either. Not just yet. They have a very bad habit of forgetting where they came from and become stranger lovers as well. If it's any indication, Palin has hinted at a third party run (she's within 1% of Obama she's not even running). While it may devide the GOP for a dem win in 2012, it may also herald a new party such as when Lincoln won in 1860 with the new Republican party. Personally, I think it is time for a new party. Michael Steele & Co. have served us poorly.

Harry Reid Plays the Mouthpiece for the Mountebank

Hairy Dweeb plays the pied piper for his master: Are these his words, or Obama's words?

Harry Reid practices what is called "cum hoc ergo propter hoc", which is "with this, therefore because of this". It's a fallacy of causation. In the video, Reid says that not passing the obamacare bill is like supporting slavery. LCR has a funny graphic related to this, but I am not finding this funny at all.

If you take a step back, you realize that not even Harry Reid came up with this. No, he got his marching orders from the protege of Jeremiah Wright, that black liberation marxist theologist whose brain is so twisted he believes that America dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki on December 7, 1941. We of course are talking about Barack Hussein Obama. This is Barry's way of saving the Obamacare bill: Playing the race card. Barry to the rescue. Barry and Mo believe this non-sense is all their fabian socialist marxist hearts. Their signature is all over it.

For the record, the republicans are responsible for ending slavery. The democrats on the other hand, not only supported slavery, but tried to stop the civil rights act of 1964. Remember Robert Bird, the ersatz grand dragon of the KKK, who now is the longest serving member of the senate?

If Reid wants to talk of slavery, let's talk taxes, let's talk credit, lets talk government controlled economies, IE socialism, and communism. I can pretty much give a logical explanation as to the logical link between slavery and these institutions. Abortion? You bet. These are desperate people that will stoop to anything to promulgate socialism, and they will use any form of strawman leftwing populism to accomplish it. They aren't using logic, but emotions

So how long will it take to get the stink off this fight? To paraphrase Jim Malone, what are you prepared to do?

Remember Pearl Harbor

Remember Pearl Harbor, a day that lives in infamy. A good friend, Joe Hydrusko, was on a ship hear the Arizona and when the Arizona went down. Joe was a corpsman on a hospital ship and he dove in and saved over 20 men. Joe was never awarded the CMH, and he should have been. He was quite a character and sadly died in a plane accident over twenty years ago. He used to fly his Stinson Reliant around the statue of liberty on Pearl Harbor day and drop roses on it in remembrance of what happened and the people that lost their lives that day. It was something I have to admit seemed unreal to me until we had 9/11. God bless Joe, and the rest.

Obama Hired Supporter of Pedophelia

From being Pro-Abortion and saying a baby is punishment, Obama hired a pro-pedophile freakosexual Kevin Jennings as Safe School Czar. When will it end?

From the Founding Bloggers and Gateway Pundit, a story comes forth about Obama's Safe school Czar Kevin Jennings:

From GP:

The clip is from a lecture by Scott Whiteman from Mass Resistance. Scott attended the GLSEN conference on March 25, 2000 undercover. He recorded this clip at the GLSEN Conference.
Here is the full exchange:

Male Teacher: … Spit versus swallowing – I don’t know about the calorie count of cum. All right. Is it rude? Let’s ask this question: Is it rude not to swallow?
Students: No! Oh, no! [Many "no's" from the children.]
Male Teacher: No. So it’s in good bedroom etiquette … [unclear] to spit out?
You just heard a public employee ask 14-year-olds if it was rude to spit rather than swallow during oral sex. Kevin Jennings who ran GLSEN is now Barack Obama’s Safe Schools Czar.

From FB:

His latest post contains devastating audio allegedly of a learning session held by GLSEN (Jennings’ advocacy organization) wherein the “teacher” discusses with children such topics as spitting vs. swallowing, and how to fist!
The event was sponsored in part by the state of Massachusetts.
Out of curiosity regarding who else is funding these child sex preachers, we looked up one of their tax filings, and discovered that pushing sexually explicit material on children is lucrative!
"Kevin Jennings founded the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). Recently he was appointed by the Obama administration to run the Office of Safe & Drug Free Schools in the US Department of Education. In 2007 Kevin Jennings was paid $273,573.96 as the executive director of GLSEN."
Is this the garbage that gays want to be associated with? If they want to be treated and respected like everyone else, they need to come out and condemn it. It's ridiculous. This isn't education, but indoctrination into a culture that lacks good morals, and ethics. So there you have it: Obama believes that not only are babies a punishment, but that minors need to consider what to do after performing fellatio. How about don't go there. If my kids got this lecture, it would be my life's goal to get that teacher fired. Instead we have a president that glorifies debauchery, murder of the defenseless, and having American grab it's ankles for the rest of the world. How low will the Mountebank in Chief stoop? This man is clearly not american, or even a decent human being.

Senator Baucus Nominated His Concubine for US Attorney

This hot of the press at Libertarian RepublicanGateway Pundit,  Left Coast Rebel and The Right Stuff.

Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus’ office confirmed late Friday night that the Montana Democrat was carrying on an affair with his state office director, Melodee Hanes, when he nominated her to be U.S. attorney in Montana.
According to a source familiar with their relationship, Hanes and Baucus began their relationship in the summer of 2008 – nearly a year before Baucus and his wife, Wanda, divorced in April 2009. The Senator had informally separated from his wife in March 2008 and they were living apart when he began dating Hanes, according to Baucus’ office.

Hanes ended her employment with Baucus in the spring of this year.

I wonder what kind of Healthcare Plan Max practiced on her?  I can only guess. May be he and Eldrick Woods exchanged trade secrets at the National Narcissistic Sociopaths Society convention this year. Whatever the case, Baucus is just one more hypocrite and sociopath elected to represent the american people.  When will Americans wake up and stop electing these assholes. My guess is never. Most people are either feckless, ignorant or stupid. Or just too busy over-scheduling their lives with non-sense. May be if we had a real depression, people would focus on what is truly important...May be not. May be people don't know how to take care of themselves in adversity, and that is the problem, dependency.

Anyway, you have to wonder what Mrs Baucus thinks of all this. She can't be too happy, but then again, most women who marry narcissists know what they have in a spouse.

Dems take more step in political suicide

The Vampiress Bella Pelosi & Co. have passed a bill to make permanent the 45% estate tax.

The estate tax in this case is 45% for estates from 3.5 million to 7 million. While you may think this is a lot of money, guess again.

Imagine a farmer that has been farming his families land all his life and it has been in the family for 100 years. When he dies, the property is part of his estate. Farms in Iowa can be 500, 1000, even 2000 acres. Even a 500 acre farm anywhere near a metro area or in an area with good soil could be worth 1.5 million easy. Now the government will want 45% of what has already been taxed, in terms of property tax, income tax and other taxes. Even someone from the suburbs of Long Island may have saved all their long life, and when they died, their home and assets could easily go into the millions, especially if they have a family owned business. Again, the government double and triple dips here, stealing from the people, and we haven't even mentioned state estate tax.

The consequences do not end there. Ask Warren Buffett, who has made many millions by taking advantage of this. This predator has purloined many family businesses from from the estate tax because the survivors couldn't afford to pay it and he got the businesses at a fraction of their worth by taking advantage of the tax laws and people's situation. Now wonder he supports the estate tax.

The real deal here is the Vampiress and her cohorts are further digging a hole for themselves come 2010. While Bella is in good form because she runs from the people's republic of California, her fellow dems will not do so well. At the very least she will lose the speakership. May be this is the silver lining of Obama getting elected: By allowing the flower of socialism to bloom, people smell the stench of the feculent flower and are now out to get the 2-4-d and be done with it. With the GOP in for 8 years, the dems always had a foil to blame for what wasn't working. Now that we get to see the results of their corrupt and feckless philosophy in a very short time, people will finally understand, come to their senses and choose a better alternative to the status quo.
