It is my belief that as human individuals, we are born into this world with natural rights that are inviolate; Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Property or Happiness which has been expressed eloquently by Thomas Jefferson. Anything less puts us in the status of slaves, indentured servants and farm animals. My impetus for this blog is to serve as the clarion call to others, like minded or not, that our freedom is at stake in a world of increasing collectivism.

By the 1890s the GOP had had enough of fighting for the rights of Black Americans.
Black REPUBLICANS were left to fend for themselves against ex-slaveowner DEMOCRATS. The GOP would not defend the rights of Republican voters who just happened to be Black.

Parties don't govern, you drooling dumbass, elected majorities do. What GOP are you imagining existed in the south to "defend" the black folks you consider so stupid and helpless?
It must be because of gerrymandering and too large of districts, even in the reconstruction and post reconstruction south. Or may be Robert Byrd really was a republican.

GOP in the South:
Chuckie, Try reading a real history book instead of the All-Hitler-Channel. Black Republicans elected tons of state legislators, Congressmen and even a Senator.
But it is real hard to go to the polling place when white redneck crackers are shooting at you or drag a friend of yours away and hang him from a tree as a warning.
U.S. Grant was aggressive in using Federal power to support the right of Black Republicans to vote.
But FACTS have no meaning to those with closed minds like the Chuck. ______________________________________ Right Guy,
In 1964 to his shame Barry Goldwater in effect campaigned as a State's Rights racist against the Civil Rights Act. He carried the deep South.
For a very short time in the fucking 1860's that was true, you ignorant shitbag. After that, it was all democrat all the time for damn near a hundred years.
Are you fucking democrat hacks able to do anything but spread lies?

Why do Blacks vote Democrat? The answer is simple.
The GOP had a lock on the Black vote in the 19th century. Many fine Black Republicans were elected to Congress and state legislatures from the South.
But the GOP changed from a Party that both PASSED and ENFORCED Civil Rights laws to a racist party that could not give a damn about Blacks.
Black Republican voters in the South were left to the "mercy" of the KKK, defeated Rebel ex-slave owners, Jim Crow and lynchings.
The GOP as a matter of policy abandoned Blacks to their fate. The Democrats were happy to walk in and take those votes.
The KKK, lynchings and Jim Crow preceded any degradation of the GOP. In fact, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 came quite a bit later...
What else would you expect from a democrat party activist pretending to be a libertarian than to spread democrat party lies?
"Gary" had led us to believe he is some sort of student of history. hehe Hardly.
Right Guy,
Civil rights laws passed by the Republicans.

And what party passed the CRA or 1964? The Wobblies?

I will stand with U.S. Grant and freedom.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Educate yourself.
The last Black Republican Congressman left office in 1935. Black Republicans were sent to Congress from the Civil War all the way to 1901.
I just love the racism still in the GOP. Even today you just can't bring yourself to defend the Civil Rights of Black people, even Black Republicans.
"Educate yourself."
I have forgotten more about this particular subject than you will ever know, you filthy democrat fuck.
Making shit up, and making a case are two different things.
"I just love the racism still in the GOP."
No, "gary", what you really love is the feeling you get when you've done the right thing for someone you consider your genetic inferior.
Of course your righteousness never extends beyond the internet, but your white supremacist, democrat heart was always in the right place.
Bless your heart.
What are black republicans doing to help other black republicans in the inner city, "gary"?
Why do you consider them exempt from your contempt? O Nevermind, they aren't fully human like you are.
