Drudge |
It is my belief that as human individuals, we are born into this world with natural rights that are inviolate; Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Property or Happiness which has been expressed eloquently by Thomas Jefferson. Anything less puts us in the status of slaves, indentured servants and farm animals. My impetus for this blog is to serve as the clarion call to others, like minded or not, that our freedom is at stake in a world of increasing collectivism.

Well Looky here...
Can Hermie do it? I hope so. The folksy entrepreneur turned politician won the Florida Straw Poll following this week's debate on Fox News. Let's hope slow and steady wins the race.

"Can Hermie do it?"
No.
Spoken like a true believer. It isn't over yet. May be none of the current crop will be it.
I like the guy a lot, but straw polls are bullshit. It simply measures the intensity of this or that sector of the base. They mostly serve as fund raisers...and news stories for the gullible.

The more I see of him, the more I'm beginning to suspect I may have been wrong about his chances. I try to be honest with myself. It makes things easier. I'm wondering if my skepticism might have stemmed from my not particularly liking his radio show. hehe
We'll see. He's pretty rough, but he comes across as a genuine guy and more than anything, wise. There is wisdom there that overcomes his Uncle Remus elocution. Another thing I dig about him is he is an actual black guy. Not some poser like brakabama. I saw an interview with him talking about growing up in the segregated south (something michelle and brakabama know nothing about)and doing so with almost a glib tone. Not acting like a victim, but just commenting on how damn stupid it all was. I was struck by his story of he and his brother standing lookout for one another as they took turns sneaking a drink from the white water fountain and their both being let down by the realization that it was the same water. White water and colored water tasted the same! What's the big deal?
He's a charming guy.
Look, the guy worked his way up, educated himself and it wasn't in basket weaving. His parents were servants. I think he's done spectacular for himself, white, black or plaid. As far as being a real black, he could tell O about Jim crow and mean it. He is the real deal. I'd vote for him.
Another thing that gets lost in the shuffle is that he gets called the Godfathers Pizza guy. His success at Godfathers was one in a series of successes at several companies. The guy is a proven leader.
I think I've talked myself into putting a Herman Cain bumper sticker on my car. The more I think about it, Cain makes a hell of a lot of sense and for some very raw reasons. Talk about splitting the black vote. Holy shit! He could be a one man wrecking ball against the democrat party's stranglehold on black folks in this country. Not to mention, just how in the hell could brakabama and his filthy acolytes go after him on issues of race? Some raggedy ann headed dipshit democrat spinster called Cain a racist and a bigot the other day because Cain said black people have been brainwashed into voting for democrats. With whom will that shit fly? Cain would say to that asshole, "Look kid, I've actually seen racism from the receiving end, you stupid little pampered fuck." Cain is untouchable on the issue. Plus he can point out that wee lord brakabama has never done a goddam thing in his entire life and do so with authority. I'm imagining them both on a dais. There is no way brakabama comes off looking like anything more than some spoiled brat teenager when standing next to Herman Cain.
It's official. I'm all in for Cain! hehe Primary, here I come!
Jesse Jerkson had a problem with him. Still, Jerkson is a jerk. Even Sharpton said Jerkson wiped MLK's blood on himself before he went out to the press. The guy was plotting even then.
Cain leaves them with nothing to say except thank you if they are honest. Of course the uncle ruckus card will come out. He'll deal with that.
I like this man!! I hope we hear much more from him in the next year!
Next year? Shit, the way things are trending all the primaries that matter will be over by this Christmas. hehe
Well, we'll see what cards Obamy pulls. The race one won't work. Did you see the scumbag that calls himself lawrence o'donnell interview Cain? What a total douche.
