A Happy Day: Adam Gadahn Arrested

As reported from the Washington Post:
Pakistani intelligence agents have arrested Adam Gadahn, the American-born spokesman for al-Qaeda, in an operation in the southern city of Karachi, two officers and a government official said Sunday. The Post continues:
Gadahn grew up on a goat farm in Riverside County, California, and converted to Islam at a mosque in nearby Orange County.

He moved to Pakistan in 1998, according to the FBI, and is said to have attended an al-Qaida training camp six years later, serving as a translator and consultant for the group. He has been wanted by the FBI since 2004, and there is a $1 million reward for information leading to his arrest or conviction.

This is indeed a happy day in fighting terrorism. My only hope is that he is brought back here for trial, by the military and adjudicated appropriately, with extreme prejudice. Adam Gadahn was the winner of the Cacasotto Sfacime of the Month Award here at The Right Guy Show.

The Cacasotto Sfacime Award of the Month

The Cacasotto Sfacime of the Month Award goes to US Army deserter, André Shepherd. From the Libertarian Republican:

(Frankfurt, Germany) A 31-year-old U.S. Army deserter, Andre Shepherd, has applied for asylum in Germany. According to Shepherd's lawyer, Reinhard Marx, "he does not want to take part in the American war in Iraq, a war that does not conform with international law and because he does not want to be implicated in war crimes."

The Apache helicopter mechanic from the 412th Aviation Support Battalion hopes to be granted asylum under a European Union directive that says the usual, "war is bad ... crimes against humanity ... blah,blah, blah." You know the drill.

And Eric, being a chopper mechanic isn't exactly front line duty. In fact, he's more of a REMF. What a Cacasotto.

The picture shown above is that of Adam Gadahn, AKA, Azzām al-Amrīki, another Cacasotto and Sfacime who lives amongst the AQ to plot destruction against us. During 2003, Adam was asked by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to participate in a suicide attack in Maryland, but Adam decided against it citing "he had recently married and his wife was pregnant."
