Happy 100th Birthday Ronnie

Today is Ronald Reagan's 100th birthday. What can I say? Re Ipsa Loquitur. I can remember, almost 30 years ago, Doris Daniels, my american history professor at Nassau Community College, say that Reagan would end up being a great president, and she meant it in a historical context. A lot of the kids laughed. I didn't.

Thank you for reading this blog.

They don't make them like Reagan anymore. This bunch of Republicans we elected in Congress are already depressing me. More power for DHS, permanent Patriot Act extension, not following through with spending cuts...

Ronnie must be rolling over in his grave today as many of these morons sing his praise.

Hey Clay. Do you think it's that we elected the wrong people in the tea partiers, or is it that we didn't replace enough of the GOP flotsam this time around?

There is a public poll about the renewal of the patriot act here: https://www.popvox.com/bills/us/112/hr514 which will be forwarded to your respective congressman. If you want to change something, vote and spread the word via Facebook, Twitter and so on. There is not much time left.

Cool. I am against a lot of the provisions in the patriot act.
