I used to believe that as human individuals, we are born into this world with natural rights that are inviolate: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Property or Happiness. Now we’re on the downhill slide after reelecting a malignant and grandiose narcissist who will run this country into the ground. The folks who used to be conservatives that I knew have gone full-on fascist, appealing to their own unqualified biases and fears, and put us on the road to destruction.

The People's Republic of Canada Limits Free Speech
Canada and Canadians do not believe in free speech. What matters to them is what you say and it has to agree with the liberal elite. If you can believe it, they have hate speech laws that prevent people from speaking the truth or if they do, they can face jail time.
Ann Coulter has a pithy, cutting sense of humor. Even in such liberal bastions in this country as Harvard, Ann has been allowed to speak. In the video above, a marxist dolt tried to justify censuring someone for speaking their mind, when in fact, the crowd at the college was more dangerous and hateful than she ever could be, yet the facia brutta from Canada thinks the crowd had the right to their free speech. Free speech is for all, not just liberals. Ann is Ann, get over it. Diversity means all points of view, not just yours, get it liberals?

Ann vs Matt: Ann Wins
Visit msnbc.com for Breaking News, World News, and News about the Economy
Ann Coulter stands her ground against the metrosexual cacasotto. Matt Lauer should just give up the pretense and admit he's a liberal hack. Go Ann go. She must be my wife in another time continuum... Thanks to Hot Air and Gateway Pundit.

Secession - Will the South rise again?

Last week, I talked about a talk show host's forum I am a member where a member used a confederate flag in his signature. Read it here. I was perusing another forum after the debate last night and I came across some of the same non-sense. This time it was a person from Arkansas and they were talking about secession if Obama gets in, particularly with Texas, Oklahoma and anther person suggested Arizona. One, what these dolts do not realize is that it will never happen, but just for arguments sake, lets say we relive the Fort Sumpter fiasco and what followed. If they think fighting the Union was rough, wait until they face M-1 Abrams tanks and attack craft such as helicopters that have FLIR. They have no clue what they are up against. It would make the Georgia-Russian engagement look like a prolonged conflict.
The other thing they are not counting on is the utter fecklessness of the american people. If nearly half are voting for Der Fuhrer, it would seem at least half would already be against them. As much as I think that we are going to hell in a hand basket, I do not believe the time has come to secede or to dig a hole in my back yard and build a shelter, and save enough food to last a millennia. May be their time would be better spent trying to work within the system to change it. I just don't think we are at the point where anyone can rationally suggest secession or revolution.
Back to the idiots online. Last week I withheld what board I was on when I encountered the confederate flag. I will tell you now. It was Glenn Beck's Insider Forum. You see I am a "Glenn Beck Insider," and I lurk in the forums, commenting once in a while. I have to say I was quite shocked to see a confederate flag used in a signature on Glenn's forum and more surprised that he doesn't give a damn. I did send a PM to the moderators and an email to Glenn, but I received no response. I guess Glenn & Co. agree with Nero and Chung. I expected more from Glenn, but he's a busy guy, I know.
Let me be clear: You cannot justify a position on states rights and/or secession by flying the confederate flag. You also cannot divorce slavery from that symbol too. If you support that symbol, it's de facto that you support everything that goes along with it. Please, don't give me some diatribe about the agrarian south being threatened and abused by the industrial north. It was about the south's view that slavery be legal in new states that entered the union, that slavery was a states rights issue. That like arguing in Hitler's Germany, if a company came out with a new oven, it had to be able to cook jews in it. It's insane. Why these missing links support slavery in 2008, I have no idea.
The other Forum that I found genetic throwbacks on was Anne Coulter's forum. This is not as much a surprise, and at this point, considering who she is, it's not even worth the trouble. So the question remains, should states secede if Obama gets in? My answer is no, not yet. I think we can survive one Obama administration, even with a democrat congress. If they do their worst, then come and talk to me, if I am still here. Prudence and vigilance is needed here, not excessive hysteria. I am not ready to go over the cliff yet. Besides, it's not Novembet 5 yet.

Heartless: The Church of Ann Coulter

If I am guilty of anything it is guerilla or viral marketing. In order to promote my blog, I post to a lot of news and editorial articles on the web, leaving my URL http://www.therightguyshow.com in my signature. I don't do it to all my posts, but 90% of them. I don't do them where I can put my URL in and the link is in my name on the post. Most newspapers don't have this feature. Still, I do what I can, to promote this site, and today I got called on it in the Ann Coulter chat room. It seems it is against their policies. I guess their moderator took time off from playing Doom, and noticed or may be one of the miscreants in the forum complained. It wouldn't surprise me. Some of the forum members are downright anachronistic and it wouldn't surprise me if they were militia members. When you see confederate flags as avatars, you have to wonder, but I am digressing here. I find it interesting that a conservative like Coulter would be against a free marketer like myself, but it is her sandbox. So while I never was baptized in the church of Ann Coulter, That's fine with me. I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. It's not that I am an elitist, I am not, but the level of repartee there falls somewhere between Deliverance and All in the Family, but without the humor. So Ann, I am guilty as charged. It's a good thing I never got baptized in your church as I can't imagine what reconciliation would be like.
