It is my belief that as human individuals, we are born into this world with natural rights that are inviolate; Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Property or Happiness which has been expressed eloquently by Thomas Jefferson. Anything less puts us in the status of slaves, indentured servants and farm animals. My impetus for this blog is to serve as the clarion call to others, like minded or not, that our freedom is at stake in a world of increasing collectivism.
Well, he is entitled to his opinion. I've never agreed that much with high hierarchy priests. I don't buy their "I'm a man of God" speech, when I see them rich and opulent...
Hector, I sense some social populism there...I understand how you feel, but hypocrisy knows no bounds. I cannot speak for the cardinal in regards to that, as I don't know him or a lot about him, and I would admonish an a priori judgement just because. That being said he makes some good points about Obama, albeit unpopular with the left. Look at this way: Martin Luther King was a philanderer, but his "I have a dream" speech ranks up there with the best all of all time. Does his personal ethics dilute his message? You tell me. Cuál es bueno para la gansa, es bueno para el ganso. Capisce?

I agree, but I still don't trust catholic high hyerarchy priests... but, then again, I was educated by jesuits...
I went to Episcopalian parochial school until the 8th grade. By today's standards it would be Anglican/Anglican Catholic.
