Now For Something Completely Different

This is my favorite car, bar none. GM knew how to make cars back then. Even as an 8 year old when it came out, I had to have one. At 18, a friend's brother had one and wanted $1500 for it. Couldn't afford it then, but $1500 is chump change now. Too bad they go for $40,000 and up, depending on condition. $75,000 is not unheard of at all. Oh well. A boy can dream, can't he?

Thank you for reading this blog.

This is totally offtopic, but I'd like to read your views on this issue:
Mexican drug cartels are buying most (if not all) of their guns legally in the U.S. How does that affect the Second Ammendment? Do you think a "gun buyer" and "gun seller" license would help reduce the slaes ammount to drug cartels?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I got the flu and bronchitis. It is impossible for a foreign citizen to buy arms legally here. I believe you have to be a citizen. On top of this, considering if they have fully automatic weapons, that is illegal. I know a firearms dealer in AZ was just busted for selling to drug dealers south of the border as it is illegal. When you buy any weapon in this country, you have to fill out an ATF 4473, which asks about 10 questions. If they are getting by that, they are lying and breaking the law, not to mention probably using false id. Bottom line is, I don't see why we should take away our rights because your government can't or won't protect you.
