It is my belief that as human individuals, we are born into this world with natural rights that are inviolate; Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Property or Happiness which has been expressed eloquently by Thomas Jefferson. Anything less puts us in the status of slaves, indentured servants and farm animals. My impetus for this blog is to serve as the clarion call to others, like minded or not, that our freedom is at stake in a world of increasing collectivism.

Frederick Douglass 2008-2009
Frederick Douglass L. left this mortal coil yesterday morning. Only a young lad, we expected his tenure to be much longer. Fred was found in a neighbors yard, having gotten sick on something. I am a sure a liberal had something to do with it.
Fred was a life long republican, like his namesake, and he detested liberals as scum of the earth. He also hated rabbits, mice and other small animals that invaded his territory, which he dispatched with the joyful aplomb that only Dick Chaney would love.
Fred was also a god fearing cat, and being a Roman Catholic, he liked orthodoxy and ritual. He also liked Santa and any gifts were naturally appreciated. He was quite fond of high quality cat nip and loved to play with his toys.
Fred left behind a family that loved him and he will be sorely missed. He was a good cat, was never a burden or a chore, and he loved his family as much as any cat would.
Fred would have appreciated it if donations could be made in his name to the republican party, the Tea Party, and any worthy endeavor that promoted the destruction of socialism, progressivism, and liberalism in a 20th century context. Fred was what some would call a libertarian republican. He believe in free-market capitalism, individual initiative and personal responsibility.
We will miss you Fred. See you down the road.
Thank you for reading this blog.

Get another one.
Yeah, we will. The kids really liked Fred, and it was a stinky time for him to kick the bucket.
