Jimmy Carter: Out To Lunch

Jimmy Carter is making the rounds and making the case that Joe Wilson's assertion that Obama lied was racist and the opposition to Obama is as well. Earth To Jimmy:
Obama is a black man that got elected president of the United States where the blacks make up only 12% of the population.

Carter, who is a vehement anti-semite, is out to lunch on this. Joe Wilson spoke the truth, the facts, and he had nothing to apologize. The racists here are the sycophants and lackeys that are scrambling to divert attention from the legislative morass that Obama and the 4th branch of government are trying to shove down our throats. If anything, we should be mad that Joe Wilson should back down.

As far as Jimmy Carter goes, go back to Habitat for insanity and build your houses. Your time has come and gone, and by any objective measure, you were one of the worst to occupy the oval office. Obama doesn't even have the experience you did... What we have here is the failed supporting the mediocre. See it for what it is. A has been and example of mediocrity at best supporting a future has been and king of mediocrity. It's actually quite remarkable if you think about it, and ironic.

Thank you for reading this blog.

South Carolina has a long list of dignitaries that includes Lauren Caitlin Upton (Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant contestant), Board of Education Chair, Kristin Maguire, Governor (and avid Appalachian hiker), Mark Sanford and now Joe “the hater not a debater” Wilson or the “screamer not the dreamer” as others have dubbed him. I did enjoy him cut and running through his apology, which only goes to show that he stands for nothing. He is just another good old boy where in the morning these married men preach to you that there should be prayer in our schools and in the evening they are on their cell phones setting up a date with their other women on the side, hypocrisy has been bred in. I am not surprised that he felt compel to yell like he was at some Friday night game. So long Joey, you too will be seeing the unemployment lines.

@Paul:
The ability to bear false witness against one's mind is a pre-requisite to becoming a politician. The reason people keep falling for fairy tales is that they do not use reason when pulling the vote lever, but rely on emotion and gut feelings. It's inductive reasoning where they take a premise and then try to prove it right. That is backwards to deductive reasoning where we apply certain premises, then ascertain and analyze the results. The reason is that the underlying mechanism is that people want to be on the winning team and are pragmatic even in their own moral compass. They want to be right. Politicians know this and they are willing to say and do anything for the prize of office and we see what we want to see. If Joe Wilson had any consistency, he would have told everyone to bugger off, that he was correct He didn't.

So in the end, it's not only South Carolina, it's everywhere. Until we defeat our own perceptions of what a winner is and chose our leaders by reason, we will always be bound to these mountebanks and brigands.

Thanks for stopping by Paul. I appreciate it.

Carter is living in some kind of fantasy or dream land. Your right. Carter did fail horribly as President. And, he even has written two books recommended to read by Bin Laden. That's just kind of creepy, the top terrorist recommending two books wriitten by one of our past Presidents. Obama's on a pace to surpass Carter as one of the worst Presidents in history.

Originally I was going to attribute his latest outburst to dementia, but I realized that it was somewhat ad hominem and would give short shrift to those with dementia. He's just a plain old dried up piece of poop with a hard tip. He was wrong 30+ years ago and he's wrong now. His brother Billy on the other hand was ok. :)
