It is my belief that as human individuals, we are born into this world with natural rights that are inviolate; Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Property or Happiness which has been expressed eloquently by Thomas Jefferson. Anything less puts us in the status of slaves, indentured servants and farm animals. My impetus for this blog is to serve as the clarion call to others, like minded or not, that our freedom is at stake in a world of increasing collectivism.

Lech Walesa Endorses Republican and Gives America Tough Talk and Tough Love
According to Lech, we have lost our moral and political position of leadership in the world. This is very true and has been something coming for a long time, not just a recent development with the election of Barack Hussein Obama, although he has precipitated that decline at a breakneck pace. Don't believe me? Look at the actions of China, Russia, and our other enemies. They take the piss so regularly that America has become a Pissoir for the rest of the world.

Is Paul Volcker Looking For a Job?
I know Ben Benanke has already been confirmed as fed chief again, but when I read Paul Volcker's article in The New York Times, he really dances around the concept of "too big to fail". He really doesn't, in my estimation, make a good case for bailing out banks, or any other private entity. Just that "Aggressive action by governments and central banks — really unprecedented in both magnitude and scope — has been necessary to revive and maintain market functions." He really doesn't disagree with Obama much, and doesn't really offer a solution other than "protection against the outliers". While we should limit the possible effect hedge markets have on banking, I do not see the need to bail the banks out in the future. They will have learned nothing from this experience. May be banking and hedge funds need to be separate entities, and have rules about what can be invested in hedge funds along with how and who. The hedge funds inversely leveraged the debt to the point of it being toxic to everyone. It's like turning a stick of dynamite into a 50 megaton bomb.
What is missing here is a solution that the banks should have come up with as opposed to having their hand out. It wasn't forthcoming. Volcker either is pitching for a future seat as chairman of the fed when Bernanke get the bus backed over him, or he's trying to stay on the inside with Obama. Nothing really changes in either case. It's more of the Wesley Mouch big government largesse to banks at our expense and detriment. We do not exist because of banks, but the reverse, and the same can be said of the government. It's about time corporations and government recognize the proper relationship and realize they serve us, not themselves. We also have to take responsibility for voting in self-absorbed, self-agrandizing, and selfish politicians that pass acts like the CRA, and go after corporations because they will not operate outside of good business practices. Lest's be clear here: The government enable people at large to borrow money they knew they could not pay back, and live beyond their means for a short while. The banks followed suit because of fear of being litigated against or in violation or the CRA. On top of this we had government lending institutions like freddie and fannie leading the way with bad lending practices, and then when the shit hit the fan, the bad loans were securitized into instruments the hedge funds tried to bury, there you have the stick of dynamite transmogrified into tsar bomba. To add to it, politicians like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd to mention only two, benefited with special preferential loans fro lending institutions. The only people left out in the cold to clean up afterwards were the american people not caught up in the mortgage bubble mania.
We don't don't need Paul Volcker or Ben Bernanke. We certainly don't need Alan Greenspan. If Milton Friedman was alive, I'd say give him a shot, but he's dead. If it were up to me, I'd have a sit down with Dr. Thomas Sowell and ask him what he thought. Too bad it isn't up to me, because now we'll have the FDR II show for the next 3 years. We remember how that went.

Socialism is anti-judeo-christian
Today's post is very, very simple. Normally, I attack socialism in all its forms from a philosophical point of view. Today I will make a statement that puts it in a judeo-christian perspective.
Socialism in all it's forms is a violation of the 10th and 7th commandments:
You shall not steal.
Because socialists and others that support government entitlements covet what they have not earned and do not own, they enlist the government, through the general will, to steal from those that they covet. They are dishonest criminals, not willing to steal honestly by taking the responsibility of their act on themselves.
So ends today's lesson.
Thank you for reading this blog.

Obama Critical of Free Speech and SCOTUS
Obama Chides The Supreme Court:
Watch CBS News Videos Online
Justice Alito's response:
The dilettante in chief continues his populist rehabilitation tour with his SOTU speech before congress. Does this guy understand anything? Can he and does he take responsibility for anything? Can he ever give a speech that isn't about him at all? He a sorry excuse for a president and leader of a country.

Heisman Trophy Winner Takes a Stand
He chooses life.
Tim Tebow, Heisman Trophy winner and quarterback for the University of Florida will appear in an advertisement during the superbowl that is paid for by the group Focus on the Family.
The ad features Tebow and his mother, and she discusses her choice for life. Of course, people are already taking sides at his school:
Some are even itching for a fight, and it seems to me ironic that a law student would want to prohibit free speech and personal beliefs:
It seems to me that tolerance goes both ways. Form what I gather, Tim isn't disrespecting the LGBT groups or even commenting on them. His association with Focus on the family is purely to celebrate life, something everyone should be behind, and even if he didn't approve of the gay lifestyle, so what. People are entitled to their opinions, no? Of course Tim has support from some people at the University of Florida:
Camille Jacobs, a UF junior and member of Campus Crusade for Christ, said she was excited to hear that Tebow has this opportunity.
“He’s just standing up for what he believes in,” Jacobs said, “and no matter what you believe in, it’s going to be controversial.”
She said students of the Gator Nation will probably be behind him “whether they’re Christian or not.”
“He wouldn’t say things just because it kind of sounds good or will stir up trouble,” she said. “People know he’s speaking straight from the heart.”
Whatever the case, this will be a polarizing issue for many, those that are pro-life, and those that are pro-death. Those that say they are pro-choice just don't want to admit they are pro-death or really don't understand the consequences of what they believe. I can't wait to take a side.

The ad features Tebow and his mother, and she discusses her choice for life. Of course, people are already taking sides at his school:
“It’s a big coming-out party for Tim Tebow in terms of moving from athletic superstar to the political realm,” said Daniel Smith, UF associate professor of political science and faculty adviser to Gators for Choice.
Once the ad airs on national television, it might cause some interesting discussions on college campuses while also rallying the pro-choice community, Smith added. The commercial's content might also have an effect on Tebow’s fan base.
“When you are an athlete and you put yourself out in the public sphere when it comes to politics, you have a good chance of alienating half your fan support,” Smith said.
Some are even itching for a fight, and it seems to me ironic that a law student would want to prohibit free speech and personal beliefs:
Karen Middlekauff, a UF law student and the president of Outlaw, an organization for College of Law LGBT students, said she believes that Tebow is still a representative of UF, and he has chosen to represent a viewpoint that shouldn’t be associated with the university.
“Focus on the Family is a very well-known group for speaking out against LGBT issues,” she said. “A lot of people know that.”
The commercial is also highlights the strength of Tebow’s religious beliefs, something the general public may not be aware of, she said.
“The UF community itself knows that he is very religious and he’s done a lot of humanitarian work,” Middlekauff said. “I don’t know if the public knows that. They’ll know after this.”
AC Stokes, the UF director of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Affairs, said Tebow is probably aware that he is being used for a political purpose and that he will now be associated with Focus on the Family’s viewpoints.
“I got a call from an alumnus that was pretty outraged by the fact that Tim Tebow was going to be in this commercial,” Stokes said.

Our Delusional President
I'd rather be a really good first term president...
As seen at Media Matters, a reaction to his interview with Diane Sawyer of the People's Network, ABC, also known as the forth branch of government. He must be delusional to think he has a possibility of being a really good first term president. As Brian says, that usually leads to a second term. I guess it is a swipe at Bush, but Bush had to deal with a lot more than Obama with 9/11, and yet has to deal with Iraq, Afghanistan and a bad economy too, which so far he has failed to show any positive leadership or success with. If you recall. he was against the Iraq war and would bring the troops home. Has he? No. He was going to close Gitmo by now. Has he? No. Did his stimulus package work? Nope. He tries to push through the seeds of socialist medicine, in spite of the public being against the bill, and in fact, pushes harder. To what? Cover 10% of the population and in the process putting us in debt for trillions more? Obama is not only a pathological narcissist, he's a delusional one as well. He's fucking nuts. No one in their right mind makes a statement like I'd rather be a really good one term president than a bad two term. It doesn't follow that a good first term would not lead to a second term. What it shows is that in his eyes, and no one else's, he has an image of himself that he is great and perfect. A true narcissist. Thanks to all who voted for this nut.

People Coming to Their Senses in Indonesia
Just a month after unveiling a bronze statue of "Little Barry", Indonesians have petitioned to have the statue torn down.
From AFP:
It's interesting that people are coming to their senses as to what Barry has done or not done. Here is a guy that has used his charisma and BS to attain political positions, but never stayed in them long enough to have anything negative attached to himself. A true charlatan and magician. Now we too have come to our senses and have realized that Barry is inept, incompetent, and a horrible hoax perpetrated on this country by the left. 2012 can't come soon enough.

From AFP:
The statue of "Little Barry" -- as Obama was known when he lived in the capital in the late 1960s -- stands in central Jakarta's Menteng Park, a short walk from the US president's former elementary school.
Critics say the site should have been used to honour an Indonesian and 55,000 people have joined a page on social networking website Facebook calling for the statue to be removed.
"We've been discussing for the past two weeks what to do with the statue... whether to take it down, move it elsewhere or retain it. We're finding the best solution," Jakarta parks agency official Dwi Bintarto said.

They only have to be good once
It has been reported that there are a high number of people on no fly lists trying to get into the US and it also has been reported that OBL has indicated that there is a coming attack.
On it's face value, one might say that we get these warning all the time. It's posturing to keep us off balance, a feint in an effort to make us too comfortable in hearing these warnings.
On the other hand, coupled with the revelation that lots of people on no fly lists makes it more serious. Looking back at the days of the IRA, they threatened Queen Elizabeth with the taunt, "you have to be good every day, we have to be good only once."
We ate not dealing with a high tech enemy here. In many ways it's simplicity makes it virtually impossible to deal with, like a virus. Flooding the TSA screeners with people that are on the no fly list is much like a denial of service attack that some viruses use to bring down a server. In this case, the TSA will become so overwhelmed that someone could get through. Will get through.
Obviously the enemy here has been good four times with us: The Twin Towers, The Pentagon, Fight 93 and Hasan. They were almost good with Abdulmutallab and Reid. This is not a problem that can be solved with increasing force (against what) or taking away rights of Americans. We must, and I declare this emphatically, we must use the same processes and principles that El Al uses to protect it's passengers. On either side, nothing succeeds like success, and the Israelis have been successful in keeping the bad guys out. I would also propose on any domestic flight, that people that are legally licensed to carry concealed weapons be allowed to carry on domestic flights. The Second Amendment is the original homeland security. Let it work.
Instead, Obama will throw more McDonald's rejects at the problem in the guise of TSA, and pay lip service to increased security. Of course it could be worse. In england they police are using military drones to spy on their own people (and they have the highest per capita camera surveillance). Of course the farm animals their will feel much safer. How safe are we? We better be good. Real good.

Everywhere the TotUS goes, there he is
No matter where Obama goes, Obama has TotUS with him. He is the Head Magician himself at a Graham Road Elementary School in Falls Church, Virginia. I don't know about you, but there seems to be something incongruous about this. He and the TotUS look totally out place, in a children's classroom, like the event was designed by someone that lacked a sense of proportion, the inverse of the Stonehenge sculpture in the movie Spinal Tap.
Obama really reminds me of mussolini here. He has such a disproportionate view of himself, a true narcissist. Jeez, they are only 6th graders for god's sake. Can you image W doing this? The New Il Duce below.

Barney Frank: A study in weaselology
The pure, unadulterated sfacime.
Barney Frank likes to change the rules to suit him. Now that the power may be slipping from the democrats, he wants to change the rules so the democrats can keep the power. This guy is as phony as a $3 bill. He's also the same person that refused to pass regulation to reign in fannie and freddie:
My only question is, does this guy have teeth? I think he's needs to spend some time away from the habitrail.

The Dead Vote In Massachusetts
According to Aristotle International Inc, there are over 116,000 dead people that are registered to vote in Massachusetts.
A new study of the nation's voter registration records finds 3.3 million dead voters are still on the rolls - including an estimated 116,483 in Massachusetts - while another 12.9 million who are ineligible also remain.
You have to wonder how many of these "voters" are democrats and even make campaign contributions to the Kennedy's. Shit, I bet Mary Jo Kopeckne has voted for Ted a few times since July 18, 1969. What is even more interesting is the Wolfe is complaining about the chickens. Martha Coakley complaining about voting irregularities of her opponent is like Arnold Schwarzenegger calling Tiger Woods a steroid abuser. It's the height of hypocrisy and absurdity.

Guess Who's the Idiot?
Danny Glover is, that's who. I liked Danny in the Lethal Weapon series, but he needs to stick to the silver screen and keep away from science and politics.
From the Daily Telegraph:
Says Glover: “When we see what we did at the climate summit in Copenhagen, this is the response, this is what happens, you know what I’m sayin’?” His obscene opinion would be bigger news if Glover had – in the manner of others – idiotically blamed a less-fashionable deity.

Lowering the Bar
In an effort to boost Minority hiring, the City of Chicago is considering eliminating the entrance exam for the police force.According to sources at NBC in Chicago:
Dropping the exam would bolster minority hiring and avert legal battles, according to one source, while others confirm that the exam could be scrapped to open the process to as many people as possible.
However, the lack of an exam would make Chicago the lone major city without one, and experts contend that the exam is integral to eliminating unqualified applicants.
So how would they judge who to hire? Based on last name? Color? Political affiliation? Without some sort of consistent standard, it'll just be a continuation of dirty filthy politics in Chicago, not that the exam and psychological evaluation hindered it that much. Of course one of the proposed benefits of eliminating the test is that it will save money in testing costs. What will it cost tax payers in lawsuits and other cost for hiring unqualified applicants?
This is just one microcosm of the world Obama came from, and an extension of his presidency. Have a conclusion and make the circumstances support the conclusion. In other words, if we don't have enough minorities, change the conditions to suit that end, even if it is unfair, or has negative consequences. This type of a priori thinking is not in the sole ownership of civil rights and the left: It is used in business as well. There the line goes: You can make the right decision, or make the decision and then make it right. Basically it comes down to supporting someone's arrogant agenda and decision making in order for them to be right. It's the arrogance of power and conceit. Justice demands more than this.
