I used to believe that as human individuals, we are born into this world with natural rights that are inviolate: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Property or Happiness. Now we’re on the downhill slide after reelecting a malignant and grandiose narcissist who will run this country into the ground. The folks who used to be conservatives that I knew have gone full-on fascist, appealing to their own unqualified biases and fears, and put us on the road to destruction.
From what I understand, Fred has a deal with Westwood One to replace Bill O'Reilly. Good deal Fred.
Thank you for reading this blog.

This is great news, and I look forward to hearing Fred as much as possible. I didn't really ever understand O'Reilly. On one hand, his book "Culture Warrior" was spot on, yet when you listen to his radio program, he sounds like a JFK Democrat. which is certainly better than a Teddy Democrat, but still democrat. As far as I'm concerned, O'reilly gave Obama a free pass, at least on his radio show. A free pass, knowing that the annointed one is not only part of, but now the leader of the secular/progressive movement. I guess this what happens when you call yourself an independent that is "fair and balanced."
As an early supporter of Fred Thompson, I was dissapointed in his lackluster performance during the primaries. But I still enjoy listening to his down home sensibility, and knowledge of the issues. Perhaps he can pick up the pace behind a microphone, while keeping the rest of us informed and ready for 2010 and 2012. If his wife, Jeri Thompson has anything to do with it, we can be assured of a Fred with a fire lit under his ass.
