John went to seminary. Of course he knows what messianic figures are about, and he understands Obama. At least I would hope so.

Obama is a fabian socialist. That means an incrementalist approach. I think that he'll shove anything he can down our throats before next january knowing there is no precedent of repealing social reform bills etc. I don't think he cares because he is a man on a mission. What matters is getting the job done. Keeping the job after 2012 is a secondary thought because he has the job now and that's when he can get things done in his context.

Does he want to destroy America as we know it? Yes. It's a tenet of marxism to destroy traditions and rewrite history to suit the marxist regime that follows. His ideology is one of dependence, of puerile dependence of citizens on the government, like farm animals. It's where he believes his power will come from. Once hooked, like an opium addict, most people won't want to get off it. Look at Europe. They are willing to work most of the year for the government. Such foolishness in my estimation and anathema to what America has been. He will use economic populism which is as old as the book and as evil as the devil. Envy as JB knows is proscribed in on of the commandments (coveting), yet the left will use it to foment and redirect discontent (The right uses social issues). Such measures work on the weak minded and they have to break another commandment, stealing, to complete the transaction. I guess the lessons at Sunday school didn't sink in.

What JB may not want to admit is that by being some sort of loyal opposition as he usually portrays, does not repel the onslaught of this leviathan. I have said it before and I will say it again, had JB been a commentator during the revolution, he would have been wringing his hands about the war. I respect his civility and breeding, but like any good tool box, you have to everything available, even if you eschew some of the tools. Nothing is off the table. It doesn't mean you have to use it, just that the other side realizes you can if you want.

Where does this leave us? I could be wrong, but if the GOP/Tea Party does well this november, Obama will be nullified to a great extent. What worries me is the damage done between now and January. I think we should be pushing for as much repeal as we can and I support Beck's position on reduction of government. It not time for the GOP and opposition to Obama to be feckless or timid. The pendulum is swinging and it's time we go with the momentum.

Judas is a Kamikaze: Stupak to retire

I am a little late to this party, as the plane crash yesterday preempted this article, so here goes...

In the case of Bart Stupak, I have to say he is a Judas who is a Kamikaze. While feigning principle in holding the pro-life position that he would not vote for Obamacare if it funded abortions, it seems he was looking for some sort of easy out to vote for it and he got  it in the presidential executive order which would prohibit federal funding of abortions, but has as much teeth as a 100 year southern dirt farmer that chewed tobacco all his life.

John Batchelor has an interesting take on it:

The Tea Party sends in a three-bus caravan to MI-1 to raise money to defeat Stupak, and before it arrives Stupak retires. Coincidence? Those Tea Party buses will reproduce like bunnies. The Tea Party becomes the juggernaut without a candidate other than "Anybody but You." Stupak suddenly reverses field and stages a Stupak love conference that FNC carries live. Coincidence? Who is producing this wacky opera? Would like the transcripts of the phone calls Stupak made to Mrs. Pelosi and Steny Hoyer: "Hello, Bart; what? What!?" It is far better than the Gingrich Zombie opera. Vote 'em all out! Empty Congress! De-Federalize? Bart, we hardly knew you, and you still have that State Trooper steadiness even in retreat.

I disagree that Stupak has some sort of trooper steadiness or that in some way is principled in the matter as some would assert, but rather saw the writing on the wall with regards to the Tea Party and also didn't want to be the democrat that forestalled Obamacare. Remember, he is a democrat. You also have to consider that with the impending loses including his own, he more that likely will find a cozy job working for a contributor or as a lobbyist, therefore he needed a plausible way to satisfy everyone within the circle of influence that matters to him.

In the end, he sold his soul for a false promise. Such people are not heroes or even good people, but people  that sell out for a mere metaphorical 30 pieces. In this case he did it willingly if not deliberately, and I am sure for more than 30 pieces in the end. Bart, you are a sfacime.

Now Back To Our Regularly Scheduled Programming

The 912 Project/Tea Party march in Washington is now in the history books. Glenn Beck must be proud and I am sure others in the new right media are scrambling to get something out of this. All aboard!

Anyway, like on many nights, tonight I looked in the list of blogs I follow and I saw a lot of the same stories promulgated on many blogs, cross linked like the most sophisticated synthetic polymer with me too posts and populist straw man comments that show about as much though at times as Jocelyn Wildenstein does when she goes to her plastic surgeon. Then again, this is the way blogs are, no? Sometimes I think the blogosphere is nothing more than a mutual admiration society, one that I guess I don't exactly fit. There are times when I feel like Howard Stern when his father would say "shut up you moron!" On the hand, it is a way to get your voice heard, and for like people to form a loose confederation of voices that wish to foment real change. Which ever the case, I am still one voice.

There is one voice out there that I find is not like the others. While this person probably wouldn't piss on me if I was on fire, I think his blog is the best political blog extant and an example of refinement of thought not seen since WFB. He is a joy to listen to as well.

Back to the 912 March...I have to say I am pleased with the turnout and I think the attendance exceeded everyone's expectations. This should be a shot across the bow of obama's good ship das kapital. I don't think Obama will give a crap as he's a hubristic piece of fabian socialist shit and he has to pay back too may progressive socialists for getting him in office. On the other hand, every member of the house and senate better take note, as 2010 isn't that far off, and November 2010 will be a bad month for many of them. Look for a shift in power next year.

What's Next?

What's next? What will Obama do since according to John Batchelor, he's lost the political narrative? While John believes this is about who controls the fairy tale, I like to deal in reality. I do agree that Obama has lost the information battle at this point as people have responded the opposite of what he expected. How did this happen?

One, Obama mistaken believes that because he is the first black man elected president and that the democrats won a clear majority in both houses that somehow this was a mandate to implement his progressivist socialist-fascist agenda. He was wrong.

It was a rebuke of 8 years of Bush, the war on terror and tiring of the same old shit. Bush failed to lead the country, particularly after the 2004 elections. It was a series of blunders, some of which were rolled up in the Iraq War, some were with his domestic policies that reeked of constituency pandering and showed his true nature as not being a conservative or libertarian and his overall inability to sell sell cheap water to an arab in the desert. I think some of this blame goes to Karl Rove as the win at any cost in 2004 led us down the wrong road and ultimately, created a power and leadership vacuum that allowed Obama to waltz in the white house.

Running up to the election, we ran into a fiscal crisis where it was decided that some companies were too big to fail. Enter the age of Atlas Shrugged. Citizens watched as the TARP bill was passed, and later after the elections, the ARRA was passed, both with majority opposition from the populace. Politicians ignored the cries of the citizenry against these bills, but to no avail. His Arrogance, King Barack "George III" Obama, believed that not only did he control the narrative, the the help of the 4th branch of government, but that his mandate to institute socialism in this country was fait accompli. What he didn't count on was that the people had had enough.

Like FDR before him, Obama wants to transform American into some sort of quasi-socialist democracy by cultivating and promulgating constituencies that will be beholding to his power to create programs that benefit them. In the end, it's all about him. Like FDR, he craves the power, limelight and adoration and will do anything to keep power. What he didn't count on was that people are more anti-socialist than he bargained for because we've had 60-70 years to see the failures of FDR and also LBJ, not to mention all of Europe. We don't want that.

So what now? It is my assertion that Obama and his minions will try to create or create a situation that will both marginalize the liberty movement and rally people around him. It may be a manufactured Pearl Harbor, or Oklahoma City bombing, or may be something else, but whatever it is, he will try to use it to assert his agenda, control the narrative as it were, and carry out his transformation of this country into a socialist country. While Obama is a coward that does not like to confront his adversaries, he likes to be right, even if the evidence proves otherwise. It's a matter of ego for him, and he won't take this laying down, as in his mind he has a mandate.

My prediction is that in the next 12 months, he will try something, as if he and the dems continue to lose the narrative, they are out in 2010 and probably in 2012. That just won't do, at least for him. And if he does do something, it could backfire like the Boston Massacre and cause the people to rally in opposition to the throne. Where were you?

It's not only Democrats that are giving Americans the middle finger. His Arrogance of Iowa is at it again. He says he will do what's right no matter what his constituency says. In other words, he knows better than we do. May be John Batchelor should join Chuck for lunch and discuss the finer points of arrogance, or may be Steve Deace could give him a lesson what is truly right. Below is a video from The Other McCain. Should GM et al Make Cars in China (or India)?

The incomparable John Batchelor asserts that GM should make their cars in China. I have been saying this for awhile. They should file chapter 11 and relocate their manufacturing to China. The unions have outlived their usefulness and have been the downfall of the car companies. Honestly, the only reason they are getting such treatment is that the democrats owe the unions for getting Ostalin elected. At this point I don't know if they can file chapter 11, but they must do something quickly, and groveling to us, while keeping the status quo insofar as how they do business is a bad bet for us.  As they say is is throwing good money after bad. If they don't get it right, then creative destruction is in order. It is good when unprofitable ventures fail because behind them is another that will be profitable to take its place. I liken it to having a garden where we keep the rotting but still living plants because we do not want to see them die. Meanwhile the same fertile real estate could be used to grow a plant that is healthy and productive. The goal of capitalism isn't consumerism, but productivity and value. GM, Ford and Chrysler off very little of both.
