It is my belief that as human individuals, we are born into this world with natural rights that are inviolate; Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Property or Happiness which has been expressed eloquently by Thomas Jefferson. Anything less puts us in the status of slaves, indentured servants and farm animals. My impetus for this blog is to serve as the clarion call to others, like minded or not, that our freedom is at stake in a world of increasing collectivism.
I am a red Sox fan, so that compensates for the Broncos' republican, leaving me even in my (false) sports-politics spectrum... Anyway, wasn't Romney governor of Massachusetts? That should point to, at least, a decent sized republican base... Just like there is a Democratic one in Texas or Alabama...
Romney being a republican is almost as absurd as McCain being one. You have to remember that Romney's positions had changed from the time he was governor to when he ran for president, and not in a small way over a short period of time. Romney has good business sense and would be an asset to any administration, but I can't say he's been consistent and believable on some issues. May be it's something to do with Massachussetts: Kerry was a huge flip-flopper as well, or may be that's just what politicians do. BTW, I am a Yankee fan. :) I do like Boston a lot though.
