Andre Traversa Presents Libertarian Politics Live: Guests Emmett Tyrrell and Ken Blackwell

Our first guest is Robert Emmett Tyrrell, editor of the American Spectator. His topic will be David Frum and why he's not qualified to review a book about George W. Bush for the Washington Post.

Frum is a former speechwriter for Bush, who used to be good but sold out his principles for a pot of stew.

Ken Blackwell will be featured in the second segment defending Rand Paul.

Call in at 646-915-9887 or stream here. The show is 8-9pm, CST.

Thank you for reading this blog.

Jim,

I enjoy your posts at John Batchelor's site, but I had no idea until now that you were doing internet radio! Nice job!

I'd love to hear an interview with Peter Brimelow, a former Senior Editor of Fortune Magazine and pre-Purge writer for National Review, as well as author of "Alien Nation," on the issue of Open Borders. He's a Brit, and his accent can be a little thick, but he would be a provocative guest.

We'd love to have him on. I will have to talk to Andre, the host and see what he says. We try to have our guests coincide with current events. What is he doing now?

Thanks for the compliment. Tonights show was a little lackluster for myself, as I was having some technical issues and never got into it. It'll be better next time. We wanted to get Jesse Lee Peterson on the show, but it didn't happen. Thanks for your support.

He runs a controversial single-issue site called VDare.com., which is all about--you guessed it--immigration restriction. The subject seems timely, given recent events in Arizona.
